    I have owned the Dewalt 788 for almost two years, and have found it to be a good saw. I do lots of fretwork. With the ease of threading the blade through the work, it is ideal for that popular kind of scrolling.

    The saw's blade can be mounted in three easy steps.

    1. Move the blade tension lever to its full relaxed position
    2. Mount the blade to the lower and upper arms via the thumbscrews.
    3. Reset the blade tension lever to its original position.

    I do love this scroll saw, you should put up some pictures of your work. I would love to see what you have done with this. Unfortunately I don't get much time to use these finer tools, most of my work is in the building trade where I use table saws and drills, like the Makita LS1013FL.

    Replaced a 20 year old Delta saw with this one about a week ago and could not be happier. Did quite a bit of research before buying and for the money, this was the saw I wanted. Very quiet saw with very little vibration as compared to my old saw. Don't break blades near as often either. Shop around for a deal. Bought mine for $505, which included blazing fast shipping, the stand, and a worklight (both Dewalt branded) from Tools Plus. Very good to do business with.tile saw
