As the show opens, you will see a sequence of day to day happenings in the life of Dexter Morgan, including making eggs, squeezing a blood orange, tying shoelaces, shaving, and swatting a fly. All of these images reflect the mind of the main character. The slicing of the orange reminds you of horrific dismemberment of bodies. The tying of the laces can only bring up thoughts of strangling a victim. The cutting of the knife onto the eggs and meat looks similar to a murderous act. As the intro closes, you finally see the logo of the TV show, and the upcoming episode.

The new primary villain of season 6 is the character known as Jordan Chase. His former name was Eugene Greer before he gave himself an entire makeover. In his downtime, he has been involved in a series of murders known as the "barrel girls" which all women look very much the same. As motivational speaker, Jordan Chase has influenced millions and is a very profile person. His involvement with Lumen Pierce, a victim that escaped (thanks to Dexter) from being killed at the hands of Chase and his group, makes Jordan Chase one of Dexter's most difficult targets yet.

If you're not sure what that means, it's the method in which Dexter wraps a crime scene prior to the crime being committed, to cover up his tracks and protect the surfaces from any blood smears and evidence. Hilariously morbid, this shirt is a great quote from the show.

The comic book was based on the recent atrocities committed by the Bay Harbor Butcher, which is in fact Dexter. The art here on this shirt is the art seen on the poster. Do you already miss Rita? *Spoiler alert!* At the end of season 4, we see the demise of one of the main characters, Rita Bennett Morgan. As the last apparent kill of the Trinity Killer, we see Rita and Dexter's newborn baby son sitting in a pool of blood next to a bathtub containing Rita's dead body. Sure, she complained, she was nagging, and she even thought of cheating on Dexter, but she was the love of his life that he grew fond of (she was initially just part of the entire serial killer cover up). The end of season 4 has to be the biggest cliffhanger of the first four seasons!

    I was so sick of Rita I was glad to see her go plus it was a great way to end one of the best seasons. I season six had the best ending so far, can't wait for the show to come back.

    The end of season 4 when he calls Rita who he thinks is on her way to Disney, and her cell phone rings inside the house...the fealing of dread in my gut was unreal! Great show with amazing characters that you really get attached to!

    Haven't watched this show yet, but am sure I'll be obsessed once I get started on Season One. I loved Michael Hall in "Six Feet Under." We've got the whole series on DVD.
