The D&G 5037 are one of the top selling models in the D&G prescription glasses range. These glasses are fairly unique, in the fact they are made from both metal and plastic. The front is rectangular giving a cool and sleek feel, and are rimmed with thin metal for an unobtrusive style. At the hinges the metal is thicker as a little detailing. The arms are made of flat and solid acetate. The acetate is a fun material, looking sleek and smooth. Upon it the D&G logo rests at the temples at an angle. These glasses are fun and at the forefront of fashion. The most popular colour in this model is the 'silver with pink fuchsia' which is a bright and out there colour which combines silver metal parts with bright pink arms for those that wish to be noticed.

Most lenses are available to be fitted to this model. This includes single vision, varifocal and bifocal so most visions are catered to. Thinner lenses can be ordered, and these are best suited to those with medium to high prescriptions to stop them looking to bulky or feeling too heavy and uncomfortable. Different lens coatings are available. Scratch resistant lenses are strongly recommended to everybody, as this hardens and strengthens them.
