Rota Admirals Unite!

If you attended DGF for any amount of time, you know what a special experience it was. The four years I spent in Rota were the best of my childhood. My first night there, I cried to go home because it was so different from anything I'd ever experienced. Four years later, my mom had to practically drag me onto the plane, bawling my eyes out because I didn't want to leave. We're like a family, no matter when each of us was there, regardless of whether we actually knew each other back then.

Hundreds of former students are still in touch 20, 30, even 40 years later. There's been a virtual reunion happening on Facebook since about May 2008, and many real life reunions have occurred. Still more are being planned. Look for the Facebook link below if you'd like to join us.

The best source of news about your friends and former classmates is the DGF Alumni blog. Also check out the other links to find other DGFers, and to find some great things we all miss from Spain.

If you leave a note in the guest book here, please be sure to include your e-mail address, especially if you're looking for old friends. I'm in touch with hundreds of alumni and I may be able to help you find your friends.

Thanks for checking out this lens! Hope to hear from you soon!

I attended DGF 1st through 4th grades, 1975 - 1978, and lived on Huelva St. Very happy memories there, though we couldn't wait to get back to McDonald's and TV! Anyone out there in Mrs. Stark's or Ms. Vetter's classes?
