Diablo II, the follow-up to the popular Diablo, is an action role-playing game in a hack and slash or "Dungeon Roaming" style. Diablo 2 (and its expansion, Lord of Destruction) was developed by Blizzard North and released in 2000. Update: Blizzard has worked on a sequal, Diablo 3, for a number of years when all of a sudden most of the team left.
