Whilst her death was a tragedy, its is a pity that so many people have been taken in by the publicity machine. She was not all she has been made out to be. She lived a luxurious life at the expense of the British taxpayer - and I'm one ! - and although she was not so bad as the rest of this bunch of spongers, she did little in return.

A great lens. It was nice to remember her.

You might want to proof read it though because you have Prince Harry's birth year as 1884!!!

I love Princess Diana and still have all the scrapbooks I made from when she died. She was an amazing individual and this is a wonderful tribute to her - blessed :)

Today the news is all about Prince Williams's engagement to Kate. Kate's engagemant ring was Diana's and I have such a mix of feelings about this. It truly is a beautiful ring, but originaly it wasn't given in the true spirit of love. Will's has stated the ring makes him feel he is including his mother in his marriage, which is a nice idea, but the reality is the ring didn't give anyone a happy ending. Maybe this is Will's and Kate's opportunity to change things for the better. I truly hope so!

I was a huge fan of Diana - I used to collect memorabilia as a child and still have a lot of Diana collectibles. I remember the day that she died so well. I was living in the UK at the time and the atmosphere in the country was something that will probably never be felt again.

I was as shocked as it's possible to be when I heard she'd been killed and I spent the whole day crying.

My brother was a chef for a champagne company in London and Diana came to lunch there as a guest of the board of directors. After lunch, he was brought into the dining room to meet her. He said she was very nice and even more beautiful in person than on TV or in photographs.

I still wonder what she might have achieved if she'd lived.

I will never forget the night I found out about her accident. I could not take my eyes off the television. I was shocked and stunned. She was so beautiful. Thanks for the great lens that is a tribute to her grace and kindness.

I followed every move she made from the time she appeared on the scene as a shy 19 year old nursery school teacher. I didn't want to be her, but I was fascinated by her. I was always eager to see what beautiful clothes she would be wearing next. It was such a tragedy when my husband woke me up in the middle of the night to tell me she had died. Some magic went out of the world for me. Excellent lens!

Wonderful lens that I immediately added to my favorites, lenrolled, stumbledupon, added to de.licio.ous, and five-starred! I LOVED Diana. We were exactly the same age, and I followed everything she did. You've done a wonderful job paying tribute to her here!

I was born in Cardiff, Wales so she was my princess even though I now live in Canada. I can still remember where I was when news of the accident came in-watching the news at home. I called mum and we were glued to CNN. When they announced that she had died I let out a gasp-the first time ever.

Thank you both for the kind words about the tribute to Diana lens. I felt compelled to do something this year on the 10th anniversary of her death, even though it has been an emotional experience for me reliving and remembering the grief from so many years ago.
