Diecast Pickup Trucks

I have been collecting diecast pickup trucks for several years now. I first began collecting open wheel race cars, moved on to early classic cars and then to diecast pickup trucks. The trucks were such an important part of our history, the workhorse of the farmer and tradesmen who built this country. I am a big history fan so i am drawn to most anything vintage as you will find in some of my other lenses. This lens will feature the many diecast pickup trucks in my own collection. Many of the photos here are from Motormint and Diecast Models Wholesale, suppliers of diecast models and favorites of mine for their quality and detail. These companies supply hundreds of model cars and trucks, however the only ones to be featured on this site are trucks I have or want in my personal collection. I am working to get up a picture of the entire collection, as soon as I figure out how to get 26 trucks all in one place. Taking photos of my collectibles has led to another hobby with a lot to learn. I plan to add a little bit of history of each of the trucks as the lens takes shape so check back often for updates.
