Tips for Promoting a Healthier You
With the obesity problem in America today, it is obvious that most people are lost when it comes to diet and fitness programs. I'm here to give you tips and ideas to lead you down the right path to your fitness goals. Building the body of your dreams takes lots of hard work and discipline but it can be achieved with the right knowledge and mindset.
Diet Tips
1. Drink lots of water- try to stay away from soft drinks or any other beverage that is packed with sugar and calories.
2. Eat lots of protein- every meal should include lean meats such as chicken, sirloin steak, lean turkey, etc.
3. Eat lots of green vegetables- most of your carb intake should come from green vegetables such as broccoli, spinach, asparagus, etc.
4. Cut out carbs late in the day- try to get very little to no carbs after 6:00pm.
5. Get plenty of healthy fats- try to get 10 grams of fish oil daily and use other healthy fats such as olive oil
