What is Fatty LIver?
Fatty liver (also known as steatorrhoeic hepatosis or steatosis hepatitis) is a reversible condition where large vacuoles of triglyceride fat accumulate in liver cells via the process of steatosis.
It is a condition that can lead to liver failure and even death in some cases.
It can occur in people with a high level of alcohol consumption as well as in people who never had alcohol.
Despite having multiple causes, fatty liver disease (FLD) can be considered a single disease that occurs worldwide in those with excessive alcohol intake and those who are obese (with or without effects of insulin resistance).
Fatty liver can also be associated with other diseases that influence the metabolic process in the body. It is actually quite difficult to distinguish alcoholic FLD from non alcoholic FLD and both show micro-vesicular and macro vesicular fatty changes at different stages.

Eating Right to cure fatty liver
As I have mentioned above, fatty liver occurs in persons who have foods with a high glycemic index. Therefore, you should start controlling your fatty liver disease by having low glycemic index foods such as fruits, vegetables and unprocessed grains.
The reason is that foods with a low glycemic index foods keep your blood sugar levels under control.
Other foods could make your blood sugar levels rise increasing the insulin hormone levels very quickly and thus your body starts to store fat.
The worst part is that insulin levels in the liver are higher than the rest of the body and thus a liver disorder starts.
