Lose Weight By Increasing Your Happiness...

Unconventional method to dieting. No pills, no strenuous workouts, no counting calories, and you do not have to starve yourself either! Lose weight while increasing your happiness. Just simply do more of the things you already enjoy and maybe try some new activities. You don't know what you like until you try it.

I gave up dieting back in High School. Reason being is because even way back then, I could see that when dieting I always gained weight! I would tell myself that I needed to lose weight, to stop eating sweets, cut down on meals, no more junk food, and I will eat more salads. I would even convince myself that I liked salads, (which I do, only in small portions with my meal). Luckily, I was never really over weight... it was just my teenage mentality thinking we should all look like super models in order to be happy.

I would do sit ups (which I hated) and even tried running (really hated that). I checked the scale several times a day, only to find I gained extra pounds!? This was frustrating to say the least. Next thing I knew, my clothes were tighter and tighter, and now I really felt I was FAT and was too embarassed to be seen by anyone. This led to depression, and finally anger.

The anger and frustration made me give up on dieting. However, once I did, I began to lose weight immediately! I now see that when I was focused on not eating, I was hungry all the time. All I wanted to do was EAT. When I let go however, I was focused on everything teenagers enjoy! I was out and about , having fun, and the weight just rolled right off me! So that was it, I never looked back, and never dieted again.

I am now in my forties and wear a size zero or a two. I realize that sounds scary to some, but I have a small frame and I am comfortable with my size. I love my body, so I nourish it with healthy foods that I really do like! I eat all kinds of foods throughout the day...fish, pasta, veggies, soups, salads, cookies, cake, etc.

I love swimming, yoga, playing tennis, and walking. God, I love to walk! I stay active with my job and with life, so I am getting plenty of exercise without even thinking about it! I have found that as my happiness increases, my weight simply decreases.

I am now in the best shape of my life. Mentally, physically, and spiritually. It just keeps getting better and better which is why I made this lens. I just wanted to share this experience and hopefully, I can help others achieve this level of happiness.

Dieting Secrets No One Will Tell You 

You Bring About What You Think About...

Yes. It's true! You can create anything you want simply by choosing your thoughts accordingly. So why not choose thoughts of being thin? Now I don't mean to say this is easy, however with practice and repetition it will become easier in time. We are all creatures of habit. We want to be where we feel safe and comfortable, which is exactly where we are. So the hard part is getting out of that safety zone. You will have to work on controlling your thoughts. Most people let their thoughts control them and are not even aware of that!

So, how do you control your thoughts? There are several ways to do this and several books to tell you how. Obviously, I can't list them all for you, but my favorite is by playing a perfectly legitimate trick on your subconscious by telling it your desires as if they are already fact! Say them out loud, with full belief that it is so. Do this repeatedly as much as often. Soon it will become natural for you and your subconscious will consider them to be fact, and will have to make it so... Consider your mind to be a garden. Your positive thoughts will produce beautiful flowers and trees, while the negative ones will only produce more weeds. You are the gardener, which do you prefer?

So my secret to dieting is believing you are already thin, and you have the most perfect metabolism! It allows you to eat whatever you want whenever you want. Now to me, that's comfortable! Maybe lying on the sofa or bed in my comfy clothes eating cookies and milk. There really is no harm in that except for a few crumbs. I actually believe cookies can be good for you unless you're eating an obscene amount of them. Then again, I also believe I can eat whatever I want and I will never put on extra weight. I truly believe this and it is so. I do have trouble finding clothes in a size zero at times, but considering the alternative, I can live with that.

However, most people are convinced if you do that you will gain several unwanted pounds over night! Now there is the real problem...You believe it, therefore your subconscious makes it so!

Now the reason no one will tell you this is that it's so controversial. It is extremely hard for most to accept, and I don't blame them. It is a very hard concept to grasp, especially if you're already over weight. But the truth is anyone can do this. If you are going to lose weight, you have to start somewhere. Why not start by believing not only that you will lose weight, but that you already have! And you will lose more everyday until you reached your perfect size.

Post pictures of yourself all throughout your home when you were that size. It will help with your visualizations. Our mind automatically thinks in pictures, so you always want to picture yourself as thin and seeing pictures constantly will just make it easier. If you don't have pictures of yourself, it's O.K. to use someone elses body. Be creative, cut and paste your head to the body you wish to have.

You already know about diet and exercise. This is very important to every human being. You want to eat healthy foods because you love your body. This is not a chore. Your body takes such good care of you and you should want to return the favor. Fruits, vegetables, seafood, pasta, bread; it's all good for you when taken in moderation. I suggest eating lots of little snacks. This way you are always satisfied, and it keeps your metabolism running, so it won't slow down, and then you won't need to restart it. The more it gets used, the better it works!

Then we have exercise! I can't state the importance of this enough. Get plenty of exercise! The more, the better, the key to this is to "Have FUN With It!" Only do what you like to do anyway. Go for a walk, join a gym, there you can swim, use special equipments, meet people, etc. Take classes in karate, yoga, and dance? The list just goes on and on. Maybe play tennis. It's great if you have a friend do this with you, if not it will open you up to meeting more people who do share in these activities. Therefore, you will make new friends.

This brings me to the last part of this great secret. Remain happy by keeping good thoughts, and keeping busy with activities you enjoy doing. By keeping active you are bound to eat less anyway, and those happy thoughts will only create more of them. "That's the law of attraction." Whatever you give the most thought to, you are attracting more of it into your life.

Emotions blended with our thoughts helps to manifest them quicker. Love is the most powerful emotion of all. Ever notice when someone falls in love for the first time, they immediately lose weight? Faith is another strong one, as is gratitude. Have faith in yourself, God, and the Universe that you will reach your goal while developing deep feelings of gratitude as if you already have.

Simple Dieting Tips To Lose Weight Easily...

I like to use the KISS (Keep It Simple Stupid) method as much as possible in my life, this applies especially to dieting. Here are ten quick and easy steps you should be able to follow everyday of your life. Not only lose weight , but increase your happiness as well.

1) Always think of yourself as the perfect weight. Picture this in your mind and throughout your home.

2) Eat a well balanced diet. Fruits, vegetables, pastas, breads, cheese, etc. Enjoy all the food groups, only spread them throughout the day.

3) Make time for breakfast. People who eat breakfast consume 100 fewer calories a day than those who skip it.

4) Eat everything in moderation. One donut is fine; you don't need to eat the whole box! But do try to have lots of healthy snacks too! It is better to have lots of small meals than one large one, or in some casee THREE!

5) Get plenty of exercise! Just have fun with it, raise your adrenaline by doing more of the activities you already enjoy, or try some new ones you may like. Anything is worth trying once.

6) Be happy! Thoughts mixed with good feelings will manifest quicker. Happiness produces endorphins; same as exercise. By focusing on your inner fullfillment, it takes your mind off dieting, which is what you want.

7) Replace regular dairy with soy in your morning cereal and coffee to help burn extra calories all day. The milk contains a protein that recent animal studies hint can help with weight loss by killing fat cells.

8) Learn some basic yoga. The importance of yoga is that it aids in mind , body, and spirit all working together. This is also the key to happiness, and you don't have to do a full routine to achieve this. You can still reap benefits by spending just a few minutes a day...

9) Drink plenty of water! Do not skimp on this one. Not only is water the most vital ingredient of your body, it keeps away hunger, and is also great for your complexion!

10) Watch less television. It is the comercials you want to avoid, and the boredom. If you are watching T.V. just to pass time, try reading a book instead. You will gain much better results by stimulating your mind and spirit while giving your body some well deserved rest.

Did you know that each zodiac sign has it's own best way of losing weight? Here are some diet tips as to what each horoscope sign should do to lose weight and feel great.

ARIES

The key to losing calories for the fleet footed Aries is running. Any kind of boxing or dancing exercise can also help the Ram lose weight. Eating barbecue foods devoid of fat helps Aries lose weight. Investing in a George Foreman Grill is a good idea.

TAURUS

The Bull hates to exercise, but they don't mind gardening. Fixing up the house and tooling around the garden can help them lose quite a few calories. They need to stay away from pastries and cakes as well as drinking beer.

GEMINI

The best way for a Gemini to lose weight is though walking, running or dancing. Bored Geminis also like more off beat work out routines, like sword play or Strippercise. Avoiding oily Chinese food helps them drop pounds.

CANCER

This water sign loses the most weight when immersed in water. Long distance swimming or aquafit can help peel off the pounds, as can cutting out cream laden coffees.

LEO

These incredibly athletic individuals do really well at competitive sports. Tennis, football, baseball or anything that involves winning helps them strip off the weight. They need to avoid the temptation to eat junk food and sugar laden sodas.

VIRGO

LIBRA

Librans prefer a balanced diet and should drink plenty of water to keep their systems fluid and free of harmful items. Libras also should consume plenty of fiber for cleansing. Libras are less inclined for strenuous activity and more prefer a leisurely pace at the health club.

SCORPIO

These adventurers do best with long nature walks or even a long walk to a mall. They also enjoy jogging, rowing, and going to gyms so that they can try to make new friends. Overeating at each meal can be this sign's weakness.

SAGITTARIUS

Hikes, both long and short, really help this sign to shed the pounds. They are also excellent long distance bikers. Drinking too much beer and calorie laden alcohol causes them to gain weight.

CAPRICORN

Capricorns are creatures of routine and like to go to a luxury spa or gym to work of the pounds. However, many of them simply work off the weight by cleaning up around the house as they are fastidious housekeepers. Staying away from microwaved foods helps them lose weight.

AQUARIUS

PISCES

5 TIPS TO SPEED UP METABOLISM

A few tips to help you speed up your metabolism... As always, be
sure to consult your physician BEFORE implementing diet and
exercise into your daily routine.

1. Eat more often! That's right. You've got to start eating more
often. 5 to 6 small meals a day to be specific. This keeps your
body thinking that it's full and satisfied. This also speeds up
your metabolism which helps your body to burn fat faster than
simply eating 3 bigger meals a day.

Approximately 10% of the calories we consume every day go toward
digesting and absorbing food so the more times you eat, the
greater this effect is likely to be.

2. Get spicy! Spice up your meals... Spices containing capsaicin
raise metabolism by up to 50 percent for up to three hours after
eating, due to increasing your heart rate. Try substituting
spices containing capsaicin in place of salt and pepper.

3. Eating fish can burn up to 400 calories a day and is chock
full of outstanding protein (and protein makes your body burn
more calories to digest it!) The Omega-3 contained in fish is
also great for your heart. If you don't like to eat fish, take
a fish oil supplement in a capsule.

4. Eat Fiber. Fiber requires your body to burn more calories to
digest it... Do you see the theme here?

Some fiber rich food requires your body to burn almost as much
calories to digest as the amount of calories in the food itself!

Dark leafy greens are one of the best sources of fiber as well
as dried fruit, Aduki and fava beans, whole wheat pasta,
raspberries, bran and barley.

Other good sources include lentils, sweet potatoes, oranges,
pears, apples, peas, wheat bran, legumes, skin of fruit and nuts
and seeds.

Fiber also sends that "I'm full" feeling to your brain but it's
not fattening and it actually SLOWS the absorption of fat from
what you're eating. Imagine that!

Drink a healthy amount of water when eating fiber or it may soak
up water and nutrient stores from inside your body.

5. Speaking of water... Drink iced water! That's right... 8
glasses a day to keep your body clean and regular. Drinking iced
water also burns more calories (speeding your metabolism) to
process it. Add a slice a lemon to your water for a little
taste.

Now how hard would it be to implement the above 5 tips? Try
implementing one tip a week. Get into the routine of speeding up
your metabolism.

A New Year's Letter From Jane 

Resolutions To Reality...

Have you resolved yet how Your New Year will be?

What is the spirit in which you're going to live your life this year?

Wherever you are in your life now, it's only temporary and life can get better. Change is a constant and we can use information about the Law of Attraction to deliberately create changes that we desire. Decide to have something better.

Whoever created 'New Year's Resolutions', well done I say, extraordinarily good idea. I like to think of this opportunity for Considered Creation, while choosing
feelings of eager anticipation, as, 'New Year's Intending'.

What you focus on expands (a summary of the Law of Attraction). We attract the fears that our negative thoughts focus on. When we choose better feeling thoughts, life gets better.

Be grateful for what you have right now and you'll attract more to appreciate as this new year unfolds.

Many make resolutions, only to abandon the lifestyle change a few days later, while experiencing thoughts and feelings about themselves, and others, that don't feel good.

Living up to Your Best Life includes making new decisions, turning from what you've learned you don't want, towards what you do want and then continuing to choose thoughts that feel good, while flowing in the direction of what is wanted.

Consider that you might have patterns of thought that don't best serve you, for example, role-playing negative 'what if ... ' scenarios in your head. Many are stuck
in a pattern of victimhood. Become more aware of your thoughts and you'll notice your patterns and hence you can let them go and free your mind more and more to truly live in the present moment.

Every day is a new day to make new decisions, new intentions, before various parts of the day. Daily Intentions that are in agreement with the 'New Year's Intending'. Setting forth a clear line of focus towards what you want and experiencing the essence of what you want, Now.

Why wait for a New (Calendar) Year to start? Yes, begin Now!

Don't make a resolution if you're resolving not to do, be, or have something! For example, "quit smoking". You'll only be giving that thing you don't want more focus. What you focus on expands (a summary of the Law of Attraction). How can the best inspired actions arise from focusing on what you don't want? So make life easier for yourself.

Use your thinking, your ability to choose how you feel, and your focus, to create. To create what you want.

Choose a place where you feel relaxed, comfortable, and peaceful inside, to write out intentions that you feel positive about, in other words, intentions that inspire
you.

This isn't a formula; there's no wrong or right way.

Choose areas of your life that are of most importance to you and then imagine positive pictures, thoughts and feelings that absolutely delight you. You'll be
radiating out your intentions and Life will answer you, because what we think plus how we feel equals, vibrationally, what eventually manifests.

May I suggest that you consider the words of Joseph Campbell, 'Follow Your Bliss'. Your heart speaks, listen to it. Make resolutions that feel good and that are about love and appreciation.

If it doesn't feel good, don't do it!

Write out 'My Now Intentions About My ... ', 'About My ... ', 'About My ... '. Examples of areas you might choose, Health, Body, Relationships, Finances, Work, Education, Travel.

Describe, generally and light-heartedly, how you want to feel about each area and how you intend to be.

For each topic, focus on what you want and imagine that until you feel new vigor and brightness.

An example. Rather than 'Lose Weight', focus on your body as you want to feel about it and how you intend it to be. Flow in the direction of what is wanted, rather than what is not wanted or the lack of what is wanted. Let your mind be free. Instead of seeking the negative by saying to yourself, "What if this doesn't work out?", say with a smile and feelings of positive expectation, "What if this works out as I'm imagining it?" You don't need to explain and justify where you are now and you don't need to tell the story of your weight / body issues, as that keeps you the same. If you keep saying it the way it is, you'll keep getting it the way it is. The point is to let go of the thoughts / feelings that keep you stuck. Think plus feel, as you want it to be. Visualize your body looking as you want it to look. How does it feel to experience that, now. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Get into the feeling of what you want. Come on, emotion + energy! Your desire is done, given to you, now feel the desired result. What are you appreciating? Flexibility? Strength? Balance? ...

Be specific, by including details, and, always then say to yourself / write out, 'this or something even better.'

Don't write 'How To's or 'To Do's or Numbers (gym three times a week, for example).

Life is a mirror reflecting what you are doing inside. Be the vision until you feel upbeat.

All that visualization is - practicing (got to love practicing!) the vibration of what you've already asked for in order to let in what you've already asked for. The
visualization itself is not making something, the vibration while you're visualizing, is.

As you then go about your daily life, you'll become more and more aware that you feel inspired, from your bliss (rather than from fear), to take action, small steps
towards what is your reality vibrationally. You'll notice new possibilities more and more and take inspired action, becoming vision-in-action. In other words, you are
law of attraction in action. Let the 'energy' experience I'm talking about here ATTRACT the desired result to you. Also attract people who support your dreams.

Say to yourself, "I'm in the process of attracting ... ... [what you want]."

Small adjustments in your thoughts / feelings, over time, transform you, your energy, and the answers you are given.

As you deliberately ATTRACT the desired result to you, the inspired action steps for you to take will become clearer and clearer to you. You'll take action because you want to, because it feels good, rather than because you feel you need to or should do (comes from fear and beliefs of lack / limitation).

You can't do everything, but you can do something.

Imagine how you want it to be and ensure that you imagine it with feeling. Pick exciting 'pictures' that instantly transport you there. Think, feel, talk, act, AS IF what you want is in your experience now. Choose to experience the feeling of Wish-Fulfillment and you'll get more of what you want, faster.

Hang in there and focus on what you want. Hold the intention. Remember, you're in control, lift yourself up to thoughts that feel better and better (better than being
in the habit of repeating thoughts that create self-suffering, don't you think?!). Clean up your thinking. Love and Appreciate more, yourself, and, others.

"Be the change you want to see in the world."

Make a brighter day. Make a better 2009.

The rectus abdominis (abdominal muscles)is a long flat
muscle, extending along the whole length of the front of
the abdomen -- separated from its fellow of the opposite
side by the linea alba. A key postural muscle, responsible
for flexing your lumbar spine, as when doing a 'crunch.'

The six abdominal muscles all affect body posture. The
deeper the muscle is located (i.e. the closer to the
spine), the more powerful effect it will have, and
therefore, the greater capacity it will have for creating
and maintaining a healthy spine.

The abdominal muscles support the trunk (often called the
core), allow movement and hold organs in place by
regulating your internal abdominal pressure.

The abdominals participate in the breathing process,
especially during exhale, when they help force air out of
the lungs by depressing the thorax.

Common conditions of these muscles include strains and
hernia. Consult with your doctor, physiotherapist or sports
physician for proper diagnosis and treatment of abdominal
muscle injuries.

To say your ab muscles are important to your overall health
is a serious understatement.

Your core -- the 29 muscles surrounding the middle of your
body -- is responsible for keeping you stable and strong.
Core workouts not only give you firm, flat abs but also
help you with performing manual labor, sports, fitness,
etc.

Also, those juicers are on my "I want" list! They are such a great idea. I hate feeding my daughter the processed, sugary fruit juices. Fresh squeezed would be a thousand times better!
