Have you ever looked at the back of a Diet Soda can? Well if you have you probably have noticed the "Ingredients" section. Well, I have heard and did some research about the topic "Is Diet Soda Worse for you than Regular?" and my results came up as...Yes.

A: By what I have seen in my Research...Yes it is worse especially if you're trying to lose weight.
The reason for this is because if you look at the "Ingredients" on the can/bottle most will have an Ingredient called "Aspartame". Aspartame is used for artificial sweetener, but some doctors consider it...Chemical Poison... The Dept. of Health and Human Services even documented that "overdoing diet soda -due to its aspartame content- can lead to Muscle Spasms, Rashes, Depression, Migraines and more." In a web site I was looking around in a Doctor said "Aspartame is considered Chemical Poison. It's not a good food, if you can even call it food."
And another said "The research and history of aspartame is conclusive as a cause of illness and toxic reactions in the human body."
Now, are you wondering why you have never heard about aspartame before? Mostly because the diet industry make corporations trillions of dollars and if everyone were to know about it it could cost them profits.
There have even been studies showing that people who drank diet soda had a higher percent of becoming overweight than people who drank regular, full-calorie soda. And in fact some Gained weight instead of losing it.
Now, I'm not saying Diet Soda is the worst thing you could have to try and lose weight, I'm just saying it's not the best solution either.

For Diet soft-drink drinkers, the risk of becoming overweight or obese was:
36.5% for up to 1/2 can each day
37.5% for 1/2 to one can each day
54.5% for 1 to 2 cans each day
57.1% for more than 2 cans each day
26% for up to 1/2 cans each day
30.4% for 1/2 to one can each day
32.8% for 1 to 2 cans each day
47.2% for more than 2 cans each day
