The secret to rapid weight lossYou have probably heard of dozens of weight loss plans, and have tried several yourself. You probably even know several people that have successfully lost weight, and kept the weight off. Yet you can't seem to stick to a weight loss plan long enough to lose substantial weight.

Let me tell you a secret. Most people fail, despite all their good intentions, because they forget the most important step: setting goals. This is something I learned from my mentor, Tony Robbins, and I will show you how to apply it to your weight loss plan, in a step by step easy to follow blueprint.

Get Motivated And Turn Your Life Around

Anthony Robbins is one of the best motivational speakers of our time. For me he is the ultimate coach, of course you might find that someone else's method resonates more inside you, but he is my top personal pick. He gives you homework tasks, so it's not only about reading and nodding your head, you actually have to work hard for your change.

Specific

I lost 60 poundsMake sure you are specific in the weight loss you want to achieve. Set it in stone by calling a number out. Do you want to lose 60 pounds? Do you want to drop 4 dress sizes? Be as specific as possible, and don't just make vague goals like "I want to lose a lot of weight". Announcing it out loud to many people is also a good idea, which gives you an extra reason to actually stick to your goal. Throw a party and hand out t shirts like this one!

Measurable

measure your weight lossMeasurable means you can count or observe it. This is very important because you now have a way of seeing how far your are from your goals, and you know exactly when you have hit it. Keep a daily journal so you also know when you are off track. Also, it keeps you aligned to an objective goals - a real fixed number, instead of some varying concept of "fat" or thin".

Achievable

achievable goalsDon't try to do the impossible - like saying I want to lose 200 pounds in 3 months. Not only is it impossible to attain within any normal means, but it will discourage you because you will never reach it.

On the other hand, don't set goals that are too easy. Push yourself a little beyond your comfort zone. Most people set goals that are too easy. Have faith in yourself and you will witness remarkable results.

Realistic

Think of your past experiences. Was it hard for you to stay on track because you didn't have a support system? Make sure this time to enlist a weight watching buddy. If it seems impossible for you to decide to cut all sugars, sweets and soda from your diets, then limit yourself to 1 a day, or better yet, a piece of fruit. In short, make sure you have all the resources available to stick to your goals, but also make sure your goals require some effort on your part, so that reaching them will be satisfying and possible.

Timely

timely goalsSet an end date for your goal. Whether it be next week, next month, July 1st or any other date that gives you a clear target to work toward. Just making a commitment without a time goals makes it too vague to follow properly. Without a time limit there is no urgency to start now and to keep your goals, after all, you say to yourself, I can start tomorrow, next week, any time.

Conclusion

If you use this system with your weight loss plan you will have a lot more clarity and awareness on what's going on and will defiantly act as a motivating force to keep you on taking action each and every day!

    You can even make a book with your topic. It's really a some kind of a blueprint, each sub-topic can be a whole topic on its own. I have found another diet plan which is called dukan diet plan, looks good but I still have to explore more about it, if it's right for me.
