Digital Astrophotography
Fellow Astrophotographers,
Let me tell you a true story...
When I started out, I knew absolutely nothing about Astrophotography, nor did I even have a clue that the segment Digital Astrophotography existed. I just knew that I loved photography, and I loved the beautiful pictures I'd so often seen taken by NASA, and when I realized that I was capable of taking these "out of this world" photos too, just by using my Digital Camera mounted on my telescope, I was hooked for life. Digital Astrophotography is absolutely now my passion, and I just can't explain the way it feels to be able to capture something that no one else can see, and be able to save it as a photograph to enjoy forever. Plus, it's not the easiest of sports, so for those out there who like a challenge then it will definitely be an award winner for you.
Truly though, so many people have began as amateurs and made an incredible transformation in no time at all.. If you love it then it will come easily to you-- well maybe not "easily" but the process will sure be a lot more fun! So this is for everyone out there that has questions, needs help getting started, doesn't know what kind of equipment to buy, and all those other little nagging issues that can really be a drag to the start up. I'm always here if anyone ever needs me, and I feel it will be as much fun and helpful for me that it will be to anyone I come in contact with here in the future!
Cheers to Digital Astrophotography,
Brit
