How To Make Money With A Digital Camera!

Unlike most so called "Business Opportunities" getting out in the real world and making money by taking pictures with a digital camera is actual "work"... something that's creative and something you can take PRIDE in. Depending on the type of work, you can use your creativity too.

You determine your own success because the only thing you're selling is your services, not something you can't control like someone else's products or promises.

Too many so-called "Business Opportunities" are really just capitalizing on people's greed and recycling money through some "compensation plan" without any real value transferred along the way!

When you make money with your own digital camera - you can feel good about providing a valuable service and not getting connected with some home business scam!

A person looking for a home business asked me once if you could really drive around taking pictures and get paid to do that. The short answer is yes - I have a friend who makes $400 or $500 per day all he does is drive and take pictures.

Getting paid to drive around and take pictures is called being a FIELD INSPECTOR.

If you live on the North Pole (or South Pole) and expect to do this for a living, please realize you only get these jobs if there are people around. The more rural you are, the farther you must drive and the more urban you are, the more competition - so there are trade offs.

And you must have enough volume to justify having a business in the first place!

BUT if you have a regional "route" of sorts anyway for one business, this could provide a whole new revenue stream to increase your income. Now that's cool.

So, yes, this is for REAL!

I myself was once interested in being a "field rep". So I researched the field myself.

I referred that all out to friends because I was busy doing other things I like better.

But YES, it's for real. One email group I joined still sends me national opportunities for field reps DAILY... sometimes several times per day. Please note...these are national listings. They're not all in my area.

So yes, you CAN get paid to drive around and take pictures!

As you get to know your service area, you'll want to find other ways to fill up your "down time" and make more money... with photos you can take one time and get paid for again and again!

Some businesses operate by targeting a neighborhood again and again because, odds are, someone there will be in the market to buy another home, move, do home maintenance, etc. Real estate agents call this "farming".

But mortgage brokers do it as well. So do lawn and pool maintenance companies.

If you're just wanting to work from home - don't worry. This guy uses the concept to

1. Sell advertising space on postcards - he makes almost $1 for every card he mails! (.89 to be precise)

2. Charges $150 per hour to photograph and organize "target" neighborhoods for businesses wanting to use his method.

What if you wanted to sell advertising for all these companies to a particular neighborhood? This is the ultimate "targeted mailing". To paraphrase Dan Kennedy, direct marketing pro, a Goodyear Blimp flying over a football field is "image marketing". The Goodyear Blimp flying to a home where the car in the drive way has tires with no tread and the wires showing through and hovering until the owner does something - now that's direct marketing!

Brandon "Flowski" has a unique niche - photographing skiers at a ski resort and selling them the pictures. You can see something about that here. They give the resort a percentage of every picture to encourage them to promote the service. How can you get local businesses interested in helping you build a business too?
