Old manual focus cameras.

Got an old film camera, dust it off and put a roll of film through it. Cameras such as the Pentax ME or even the old spotmatic. Theses are great cameras capable of delivering top quality photographs. The key is in the optics, many of the zooms that were bolted on to amateur cameras were not so hot. Go and get an old 35 or a 28 or 50 prime, probably cost a maximum of 35 pounds and you will have a superb optic, capable of delivering amazing results. A whole kit can be bought for a couple of hundred pounds.
Unsure? go and get one of today's monochrome films! can I suggest XP2, Its got such a wide exposure latitude it hardly needs a meter. and it will run through C41 (standard minilab chemistry).

Digital Vs Film

Digital versus film.
It is still a hot topic, although there seems to be a growing acceptance that digital belongs to the future while film is relegated to a niche. Or is it? A growing number of photographers are returning to film. It would seem that B+W and alternative cameras are also increasing in popularity, this section looks comparisons of the two mediums. both strengths and weaknesses.
