Getting Started

So, what do you need to get started with Digital Scrapbooking? A lot of money, if you don't already have some of these things...

Adobe Photoshop CS4

Expensive photo editing software.

Adobe Photoshop Elements 7

Or less expensive photo editing software.

The Epson R1900 Large Format Photo Printer

Wondering just how on earth you're going to print out a 12 x 12 digital layout at home? Well, what you are looking for is called a large format printer, like this one from Epson!

It can print a high quality image as large as 13 inches wide! Now you can print your layouts at home at the touch of a button.

Or Make Yourself a Book

There are many websites dedicated to offering printing services for your digital photos, like ShutterFly, SnapFish, WinkFlash or PhotoWorks, to name a few. Many of these services also offer you the option of making your own photo book as well. Turn your digital scrapbook pages into your next coffee table book with the click of a button!

I highly recommend ShutterFly myself. I made a baby book for my son with my digital goodies and I uploaded it to Shutterfly's website. When my book arrived, I just about cried! It simply looked incredible. They do a wonderful job!

Here's a book that's on my wish list!

I love reading Jessica's blog, Sprague Lab. She's also one of my favorite Rockin' Scrapbooking Bloggers.

She's got a great style and she knows so much about digital design. Isn't it so nice that she shares her knowledge with us?

Gotta get this book...
