    I usually do some scrapbooking around Christmas (make a page for my mom, Grandma, and Grandpa for their scrapbooks for Christmas). They really enjoy it and so do I! Great lens!

    I am HOOKED on digital. It's easy, fun and instantly gratifying. I can make an album in an afternoon and share it on line. It's the greatest thing EVER.

    I like the free templates that are printable and then I use them as cut outs. I like to get card stock and then create my own templates too.

    I have never done digital scrapbooking, but I've long since given up regular scrapbooking. Too expensive, too much to keep up with. This looks more like my "cup of tea."

    I have my own scrapbooking site which I sell paper product.(australia).. Just getting into digital and hooked big time... Love using digital and paper to create great {hybrid} projects..

    My fav computer is a Mac, you have the basics in 'Pages' to create simple digital pages with out having to shell out for more software...
    In the begining alot of photo books couldn't be uploaded from my mac to companies who deliver in Aussie.. so trusty old Big W. has been my pic.

    thanks for the great list. may I recommend www.blurb.com also for making books. Same as shutterfly but someone I know did a comparison (literally ordered a book from every site) and found this to be this best.

    Be sure to read all the TOU files for each thing you download. Not all designers allow for you to use their digital scrapbooking designs for web design.

    I like this stuff. Would there be anything wrong with using (accredited) digital scrapbooking materials for clipart/site backgrounds? Can I also recommend using Inkscape - a free thing for doing quick illustrations. I use it for some of the diagrams and drawings on my lenses.

    You should add Viovio.com to your list of photo book publishers. Their quality is every bit as good as Shutterfly, but their prices are so much less! I saved over $70 having my daughters baby book done with them over doing it at Shutterfly!

    I LOVE digi scrapping I have been doing it for about six months. I have already created over sixty layouts!! When I was paper scrapbooking (the last three years) I only completed about 20 in three years!!!! I love it and have a room devoted to paper scrapping. But now all those supplies will be used for kids projects, Hybrid or cards! I LOVE your site too! Thank you!!!

    No, I think that most digital scrappers do on-line crops, verses weekend retreats. But if they did, they sure have a lot less to pack! ;)

    I just wanted to tell you know about using Digital Scrapbooking for a marketing project I did - I grabbed some books similar to your offers above albong with some raw materials, then created a "scrapbook" which we used to help a client get 300% more clients. It was just a riot to put together.
