Fresh Dilbert Cartoon Every Day

Dilbert is an American comic strip written and drawn by Scott Adams. Dilbert is known for its satirical humor about a white-collar, micromanaged office, featuring the engineer Dilbert as the title character.

It originally revolved around the engineer Dilbert and his "pet" dog Dogbert in their home. Many plots revolved around Dilbert's engineer nature or his bizarre inventions. These alternate with plots based on Dogbert's megalomaniacal ambitions.

Later, the location of most of the action moved to Dilbert's workplace at a large technology company, and the strip started to satirize technology workplace and company issues.

Dilbert Calendars

I have one of these on my desk at work, so every morning when I come in, I have the anticipation and excitement of reading the Dilbert of the day. In fact, most of my fellow employees frequently gather around my desk to read it as well, and my manager has openly said that the pointy-haired boss is his role model.

Dilbert on DVD

Dilbert- the most popular comic strip of the decade - is now on DVD. With his signature turned-up tie, round glasses and buzz cut, Dilbert is already a pop culture phenomenon, providing an irreverent reference point for workers everywhere.

Developed and produced by Emmy Award-winning writer/producer Larry Charles ("Seinfeld," "Mad About You"), DILBERT, the series, follows the "every man" as he copes with daily life at The Company. Daniel Stern ("The Wonder Years," Home Alone, City Slickers) stars as the voice of Dilbert, while Chris Elliot voices his roommate Dogbert, who views the entire world as existing for his personal entertainment.

Joining Dilbert in the office are his fellow engineers: the no-nonsense, caffeinated Alice (Kathy Griffin) and selfish, slothful Wally. Guest voice talent includes Jason Alexander, Andy Dick, Eugene Levy, Jay Leno, Jerry Seinfeld, Stone Cold Steve Austin, Tom Green and more!

Dilbert - The Complete Series

Dilbert is a cubicle dwelling employee for a large soulless corporation. Along with his cynical and under-motivated co-workers, he labors fruitlessly under the bone-headed leadership of the Pointy-Haired Boss. Occasionally Dogbert, Dilbert's super-intelligent dog, gets Dilbert caught up in another wild money-making scheme, to Dilbert's regret.

The Dilbert Principle

The Dilbert Principle is a takeoff on the Peter Principle.

The Peter Principle addresses the practice of hierarchical organizations to use promotions as a way to reward employees who demonstrate competence in their current position. It goes on to state that, due to this practice, a competent employee will eventually be promoted to, and remain at, a position at which he or she is incompetent.

The Dilbert Principle, on the other hand, claims that incompetent employees are intentionally promoted to prevent them from doing harm (such as reducing product quality, offending customers, offending employees, etc.)

Scott Adams provides the hapless victim of re-engineering, rightsizing and Total Quality Management some strategies for fighting back, er, coping. Forced to work long hours, with no hope of a raise? Adams offers tips on maintaining parity in compensation. Along the way, Adams explains what ISO 9000 really is and assesses the irresistibility of female engineers.

Great lens. I love Dilbert (and especially Ratbert). When I lived and worked in Silicon Valley I read the strip religously and started collecting the books. Thanks for sharing! 5 stars and made a favorite. Already a FAN! Bear hugs, Frankster
