The place for a dinner party is very important. Until all the guests arrive you will want to serve cocktails so you will need a space for people to mingle. You must be sure that everyone at the table can sit comfortable and that they have space to move the chairs away from the table. Take in consideration that if you have a dinner with many courses your guests will have to sit for a long period of time so after the dinner it will be a good idea to have a place where your guests can relax and digest. A living room will be a good place for that.
