DISC Personality Testing - 3 Reasons For You To Take a DISC Profile Test
When two people in a relationship both complete a DISC personality test, they gain insights into each other's perspectives not easily obtainable in other ways.
Since DISC personality tests are simply tools, they can, like any tool, be misused. We focus on teaching understanding rather than labeling. We simply use the DISC personality test as a tool to help us develop this understanding.
Here's a free DISC profile test you can try.
1 - DISC Personality Testing Helps You To Understand Your Strengths Better
Everyone has both strengths and weaknesses. A DISC personality test can help you gain insights into your strengths that you will not easily gain in other ways. Many tools exist to help you determine your personal strengths. Among the many things you can learn from a DISC personality test, this is one item.
In addition, though, it can also give you insights into the strengths of others that you may have overlooked.
The combined insights of both understanding your strengths better AND understanding and appreciating the strengths of others better gives you knowledge you can use in all of your personal and professional relationships.
You can then use this knowledge to communicate more clearly and effectively, connect by design rather than by chance, to help other people, to build teams, to sell products, to build relationships, and to get results.

2 - DISC Personality Testing Helps You To See Your Blind Spots More Clearly
While all of us have strengths, we also have blind spots. We have behaviors and perspectives that we don't necessarily see all that well without some type of outside perspective.Sometimes, we can gain insight into these blind spots by getting feedback and perspective from a friend, family member, or co-worker. Often though, their input will be flavored or colored by their perspective. Getting input from others is not necessarily bad. In fact, you can usually learn a great deal about how you are communicating by receiving feedback from others.
While feedback from others is not bad, neither is it objective. When you complete a DISC personality test and carefully review the profile results, you gain objective, non-judgmental feedback on your behaviors, words, and attitudes.
This objective, third-party view can give you amazing insights into how others might perceive your words and actions. You can learn how you might be misunderstood, and what you can do about it.
When you have an objective view of your blind-spots, you take action to correct for them. Like the driver of a car may not ever see clearly in their blind spot, they can use a tool like a mirror to at least see something. This awareness creates a foundation for amazing growth in all of your relationships.
