I've been using my unit from the moment I took it out of the box and I am very happy with it. It even comes with a handy pouch to carry with you. Electrode patches it comes with are a little small, so you may want to order separately spare ones that are bigger, but overall great purchase for those whose back/lumber/sciatica pain subsides with electric stimulus.

I had a septic knee replacement for some time with slow growing staph infection....I had the knee taken out an antibiotic spacer put in and to bed I went for 8 weeks.....No one told me until rehab that I would be dealing with atrophied muscles too......After my new Total Knee went in I went to Physical Therapy for 4 months plus. This is not therapy based just on knee replacement....now both sides of the body has to be worked and I spent the first month or so going to my chiropractor also..I use this unit along with therapy and Chinese Qigong healing exercises and I feel great. This unit is easy to understand and great on the preset modes.....There is a timer on it and I normally use it at 27 minutes but you can go up to 41minutes and it has a clip so you can actually take it with you walking, biking etc.....powered by two alkaline 1.5 AA batteries.....This is a nice little machine that can help for migraine, sciatica and a wealth of ills.....I highly recommend this and I am pleased with the company that sold it here....Horizon Medical Supply.....My physical therapist showed me how to work my machine....Easily five stars...

I had moderate lower back spasm and was hesitant to use it fearing that an electric impulse would make the contracture worse, but it relieved it amazingly well. It can be used in conjunction with a heating pad for additional relief.

My Physical therapist has just recently purchased this product and he has used to on me prior to giving me a massage. I have been suffering from lower back pain for years but when my therapist uses this unit on me it works instantly in terms of relieving any pain in my back. I mean whats the purpose of a massage if you have this unit. His other patients say the same thing. "Works fast and does the job right in terms of relieving back or joint pain.
