My mother-in-law who is on Medicare but has no dental insurance enrolled in the dental plan. She indicated to me that every time she goes to the dentist she was paying $250-$300 dollars out of pocket. I assured her that with AmeriPlan she was guaranteed to save money on her next visit. It just so happened that she had a dentist appointment the following week. She did not want to switch to another dentist and wanted to know if her dentist was in the network. I looked up her dentist and low and behold he was in the network. I told her that she probably wouldn't receive her member kit in time for her visit, but I would call her with her member ID number as soon as it was assigned in the system. Once her ID number was assigned (within a couple of days) I called her and told her to give this number to the receptionist, that's all she had to do.

After she was done with the dentist, she called me from the dentist office. She was actually screaming for joy! She said that her dentist told her that she was going to save a lot of money that day. I put my checkbook back in my purse and gave him $20.00 and waited for my $1.00 change. (smile)

I asked Jerry, how much out of pocket would we have paid if we went with the dental insurance instead of Ameriplan. He said $188.00. My husband is now telling everyone he knows about AmeriPlan. We are so happy with our savings. My husband is scheduled to have more work done on his teeth next week. The dentist told us that we were looking at $2500. However, he said with AmeriPlan, it is only going to cost us $700.00!!! Thank GOD for AMERIPLAN!!
