Tim Kring has said that show promoters, writers, etc., assumed too much about viewers' expectations during the first season of HEROES. In turn, it was thought that viewers wanted intrigue and a build up of tension surrounding the characters...

Apparently, Tim and crew may have figured that Season Two would be the time to tell the stories in a different way but viewers want that same intrigue, action and tension - in constant, high doses for season two.

Kring says viewers were taught to expect a particular type of storytelling from watching Season One.

What do you think about all this?

Personally, I still love the show! I admit that just the first couple of episodes were full of action and intrigue and that this has settled down somewhat. I am actually interested in the slowed-pace, myself, because I want to learn more about the internal issues that the characters have...

* Apparently there is one episode whereby almost all of the people on film are all underage for more time than any adult actors are on film. Interesting...I'll bet it's the Homecoming Episode.
