Some months ago I had finally gotten around to cleaning out the gutters like my wife Peg had been after me to do for, well, let's just say a long time. I was up on the extension ladder and was trying to keep from having to climb down and move it again. I wish now I hadn't been so lazy.

But I sort of consider the day I fell off the ladder to be one of my lucky days. If I hadn't had the accident, who knows how long it might have been before I finally got around to making the switch to Dish Network.
