Brother Bear Movie Review
Walt Disney movie about brotherhood
Kenai is transformed into a bear by his brother Sidka's spirit after he kills the bear he deemed responsible for Sidka's death. We follow Kenai as he journeys to where the light touches the mountains. Koda a young bear cub, recently separated from his mother, joins Kenai on his adventure. Koda teaches Kenai that bears do love and are beautiul.
Brother Bear is a beautiful story about brotherhood; the family that you are born into and the family you adopt. It teaches the viewer about the power of love and acceptance without any preaching.
Walt Disney movie Brother Bear is one of the less popular films by Disney, but less popular does not equal bad. I think this Walt Disney movie has an incredible, dare I say magical, affect on the viewer. You immediately care for the characters and feel the need to complete the journey with them until it's conclusion. In my opinion, this is a great mark of any movie.

Rutt and Tuke: Do you like their characters?

Love them.
Nicky says:
Stereotypes can be described as many different cultures, genders, sexual orientation, and so on. Just because these characters have a specific "accent" it has nothing to do with making fun or representing any negative stereotypes as one said above. I believe these characters are amusing and great for the movie.
Hate them.
Brother Bear earns two thumbs up courtesy of Ebert and Roeper.
