Decorating A Child's Room
With Disney Princess Posters
When you have a child their tastes will probably change as they grow, so I'm going to share an idea with you. When my daughter was first born we were renting so I wasn't able to paint her room, with this in mind I looked around for pictures to hang on the wall.
I found a lovely Pooh one, but then I suddenly thought - what if the baby (I was still pregnant at the time) didn't like Pooh??? What I ended up doing was buying a couple of poster sized frames that were silver plated. I put a couple of Pooh posters in them and popped them on the wall.
My daughter soon grew out of Pooh and was more onto the Disney Princesses so I took the frames down and replaced the posters. When we moved into our own house the frames came with us and eventually were home to some Bratz posters. Currently we have a Hannah Montana poster and a High School Musical poster on display. I'm pretty sure my daughter would love to have a Jonas Brother's poster, but she knows her dad would tease her if she got one!!

Here is an unusual poster which contains all of the Disney Princesses - can you name them all?
Just in case you're unsure from left to right we have Jasmine with the dark hair dressed in light blue. Next is Aurora who's pretty in pink, you may know her as Sleeping Beauty. The third one is none other than Snow White - my daughter's favorite.
Next to Snow White is my personal favorite - Cinderella she is the blonde in the light blue dress. Moving along we have Belle wearing yellow, she's the princess from Beauty and the Beast. Lastly on the right is the red-headed Ariel, also known as the Little Mermaid.

Here is the poster from the top of the page, it contains all of the Disney Princesses and a Castle - what more could a little girl want - a castle in her room!
Roses growing up the walls and little birds fluttering around this really does portray a fairytale castle.
If you use your imagination you can even hear the birds singing their happy songs and making all of the Disney Princesses laugh.
Can you spot who's missing from this poster? There is no Ariel instead they have another Disney Princess called Mulan. I don't remember Mulan from when I was younger so when my daughter came home from Kindy talking about her I had to do some quick research!!!

The three Disney Princesses - Aurora, Belle and Cinderella - are often pictured together. Here we have two wonderful posters of them with their horses and also at the Ball.
Either one of these prints would bring a smile to anyone's face. On a personal note my daughter loves horses, but she also loves dancing so these two posters were ideal for her.

Cinderella has always been my favorite Disney Princess - I don't know why. It may just have been her blue dress - blue was my favorite color as a child. It could've been that despite everything she still met her prince.
This is a classic Cinderella poster and is ideal for anyone who's favorite Disney Princess is Cinderella.

"You shall go to the Ball" - Who wouldn't wish for a Fairy Godmother to wave a wand and grant their wishes?
I can remember going to see this movie quite vividly. A real classic.....maybe that's why Cinderella has always been my favorite Disney Princess????

I must admit I don't remember ever knowing that Belle's name was Belle until I had my daughter. I must have, but in my mind her name was always Beauty as in Beauty & the Beast!

I loved the story of Sleeping Beauty when I was younger. We use the term sleeping beauty a lot in our house - if our daughter falls asleep in the car after a long day out I'll call her sleeping beauty as I get her out at home.
My parents still call me sleeping beauty because I make the most of staying with them to have a lie in - my daughter always goes in to them in the morning :)

Snow White has always been my daughter's favorite Disney Princess, I'm not sure why, but the only Disney Princess dolls she had were both Snow White. The classic Snow White doll and a ragdoll type doll that was a (unlicensed don't tell anyone!) Snow White doll.

Ariel is more commonly known as the Little Mermaid.
My nieces absolutely loved the story of Ariel and I have read it many, many, many times.
Personally I just love that we have a Disney Princess with red hair!
