How To Plan Your Perfect Disney World Vacation with Discount Tickets

After seeing so many Disney movies as a little girl, to actually be in Disney World was like a dream come true. From the first moment that I entered the Magic Kingdom, it was like being in the middle of a fairytale. Every last detail gave me the feeling of living in a fairytale.

When I grew up and decided to go back to this wonderful world I was afraid that my childhood fantasy recollections would be ruined. Now that I have grown up and I am no longer a little girl, I know that Disney World is a fantasy world. Nevertheless, when I passed through the gate, and stepped on the blue carpet decorated with golden images of Mickey Mouse, I felt sucked into the familiar childhood feeling, and it was as though I was experiencing it all for the first time.

Walking through the magical streets is an experience by itself. Every building has its own uniqueness, every store seems more interesting than the next, and I felt like I wanted each store to become my home. I expected that any minute a pillar would start talking to me, or a strange cat would point me to the next attraction.

There are lots of stores in Disney World Main Street; stores for children, babies, teenagers, adults - in short, a taste of fantasy for everyone. A different character on each item - all you have to do is choose who is your favorite for the day; Mickey or Minnie, Peter or Hook, Cinderella or Snow White, or even the Little Mermaid.

There is an amazing store that sells tableware sets decorated with all the favorite Disney characters. Upon entering the store, I felt as though I had entered the Queen's Palace with all her tableware on display - and even I could buy whatever my heart desired.

To have a birthday party with a set of black and white Mickey Mouse plates and cups, silverware, and even a matching tablecloth. Or just an ordinary meal, when Mom and Dad are at work, and you have your favorite friends together with you at the table.

There is a pajama store! Believe me, it's the best feeling in the world when Winnie the Pooh keeps you warm, or, after a shower, you slip into a fluffy, baby-blue robe with Goofy smiling on the back.

And the Costume shop! WOW!! I look to the right - I want to be Snow White, I look to the left - its Tinkerbell's year. Up, down, all around, such an enormous choice! Where should I begin? I take as many costumes as possible, and go to the "mirror room" (actually the dressing room, but let's not be petty). I let my imagination run wild, and in a second I can feel how I become an enchanted princess, my long dress trailing behind me, trying very hard not to lose a shoe while running along the paved path towards the palace to meet my Prince Charming.

After buying a bunch of my favorite things, I stop in front of the most amazing store of all - the Disney dolls store. I go into the most enormous store - a huge Alice stands in the middle, as though she just ate a bite of the mushroom. All around her are dolls of every size, shape and color. I want so much for all of them to come home with me, and together we'll have a big Tea Party to celebrate this wonderful day that we spent together at Disney World.

After all the shopping I am hungry. But don't worry - Disney won't let me remain with an empty stomach. There is a large variety of eating places offering the most delicious ice-creams and cookies in the shape of Mickey, Minnie, Donald, etc. There are also stores selling sweets in all colors and shapes: lollipops, lose candies, marshmallows, chocolates. Oh, wait! My eye catches my favorite of them all in the back of the store - a toffee apple - exactly the same as Snow White's. I buy it, and imagine that I am Snow White and the lady behind the counter is the Witch. I am careful bite by bite, waiting for the moment that I fall into an eternal sleep and all the dwarves will gather around me until the Prince comes and wakes me with a kiss, and we live happily ever after.

No wonder that Disney is like a dream. When in the Magic Kingdom, no matter our age, we are all princes and princesses, even if it's only for one day.
