Everything with Disney!

My motto can be summed up in 2 words: Everything Disney I welcome people to my home with my Disney doorknocker and mat. Hold my money in an Eeyore purse. Love lounging around in my Nightmare before Christmas PJ's and Tinker Bell fuzzy slipper socks. I can easily find my car in any parking lot by just looking for my Jack Skellinton antenna topper!

The Disneyana experience has exploded in recent years. More and more stores are stocking Disney embellished merchandise. Nowadays almost every Disney movie character has its' own line of merchandise. Characters merchandise from The Incredibles, Meet the Robinsons and Pirates of the Caribbean are dying fads already. While Cars, Hannah Montana, and the Fairies have made themselves a place to stay. It always hard to know which ones will become classics. I think much of the it has to do with the children. They are the buying power behind what sells. For each time a new Disney movie is released, children decide they want their bedrooms decorated in the new movie theme. Or what character will be featured on their back to school wardrobe.

While I will admit the new movie character merchandise is always cute and inviting, I still prefer the ageless classic merchandise from Mickey Mouse, Winnie the Pooh, Tinker Bell, and Eeyore. My favorite everyday items are the messenger bags, the beautiful snowglobes, and unique car accessories.

Although many serious collectors spend their money on the more "finer" and expensive products, ecommerce has brought a way for the everyday Disney lover to surround themselves with their favorite Disney characters.

Tinker Bell is a pixie fairy and a Disney mascot. She has her own line of merchandise and is displayed on posters, clocks, sneakers, hats, shirts, umbrellas, and even jewelry. She is a popular icon for young girls.

Although she was originally just a supporting character in Barrie's story, she has become widely known beyond this context. This is especially true of her interpretation by the Walt Disney Company, who have long used her as a mascot and later established the Disney Fairies media franchise around her. Her character's name is often used as a synonym for fairy.

Coming this October to DVD is the new "Tinker Bell" movie. Pre-order yours today.
