Disney TIP 1: Eat Breakfast
See our ideas, let us know yours and we will add them
1. Eat well in the morning and it will keep you going for most of the day. You can get by with a snack or two before having a proper meal in the evening. Disney TIP 2: Shuttle Launch
2. If there is a shuttle launch from Cape Canavrel, it can be seen from much of the Disney area especially if it is an evening launch. Check with your hotel staff to see if there is a suitable location close by. We were able to see a launch from the Animal Kingdom Lodge.
Disney TIP 3: Stay in a Disney Resort
3. If you are doing mostly Disney, stay in a Disney hotel. Staying in a Disney Hotel allows you to take full advantage of the Disney parks. Use the Disney transport from your hotel direct to the parks, this saves on driving yourself everywhere. Disney guests can take advantage of Magic hours. This is either at the start of, or the end of a day. Parks either open early or close late for Disney Guests. No queues! Have your Park purchases delivered back to your hotel, this saves you from carrying lots around all day. See some of our other tips for more advantages of staying in Disney Hotels. Disney TIP 4: Disney Transportation
4. Use the Disney transportation to get from your hotel to the parks. Disney TIP 5: Disney Buses
5. Buses travel from all the resorts to the parks and also to Downtown Disney. Generally they start about 45minutes before the parks open to about 1hour after the parks close. There is also a boat service form some of the hotels to some of the parks. Check out all your travel options when you check in to your hotel. Current Disney Weather

Disney TIP 6: Breakfast Reservations
6. Booking a Breakfast reservation will get you through the park front gate early allowing you to get closer to the rides before they open. Disney TIP 7: Magic Kingdom Fireworks
7. Magic Kingdom fireworks can be viewed from many places, in front of the castle is not necessarily the best place as the castle can obscure your view. Try watching from the Crystal Palace or Main Street Station. Get a Disney guide book
A guide book can be invaluable to planning your holiday and getting the most out of the time you get to spend in the parks. Don't wait until you are there to get yours. UK Buyers click the UK Buyers Link to save money on postage costs.
Disney TIP 8: See the Fireworks from your Hotel
8. Some Disney hotels have good views of the fireworks, check with the hotel cast members for the best places.
Disney TIP 9: Package Delivery Service
9. If staying in a Disney hotel use the package delivery service to have items sent back to your hotel. This will save you carrying everything all day.
Disney TIP 10: Disney Restaurant Reservations
10. If you wish to Dine in a Park Restaurant it is well worth making reservations before hand. You can make reservations upto 180 days before.

Disney TIP 11: Unusual Pins
11. Trade pins with Cast members to get access to some unusual pins that are not available to buy publically. Disney TIP 12: Hidden Mickeys
12. For added interest get to kids to look out for Hidden Mickeys. Hidden Mickeys are all over the place, not just on Disney Pins. An example of a Hidden Mickey is on Mickeys left heal in this picture.

Disney TIP 13: Stay Flexible
13. Don't put too much effort into building a schedule. Have an idea of what you want to do and when you are going to do it, but keep it flexible. This will allow you to change your schedule as you go, making the most of opportunities as they arise.
Disney TIP 14: Avoid Temporary Long Lines
14. Try to avoid popular attractions close to the bigger shows when the show finishes. A lot of people will leave the show and join a line for the close rides, temporarily making the lines longer. Disney TIP 15: Don't Queue for Shows
15. If you don't mind being towards the back or to one side of a theatre show, try arriving just before the show starts, the line will have all entered the show and you can get to see it without waiting. Vote for your favourite Disney Character

Disney TIP 16: Get Picked!!
16. If you want to be a volunteer, or stage participant, do something to stand out from the crowd that makes you easy to identify. Try wearing a bright tee-shirt or an unusual hat. These will get you noticed!
Make yourself standout and get picked at Disney
When the Disney cast members are selecting participants for audience participation, they do not have much time, they certainly have to be quick. So how do you get yourself noticed? Wear something different that will make you stand out in a crowd.
A bright T-Shirt does a good job of this. Wear something that is easily distiguished and the cast member can point to you and say "the young man in the ......" or "the young lady in the bright .......".
Try wearing a unique hat, some of the park hats are ok if there is nobody else wearing one, but take one with you and it will probably be unique. Choose something that will shelter you from the sun aswell.

Disney TIP 17: Park Maps
17. When you arrive at the park be sure to pick up a park map and an events time sheet. Take 5 minutes to study both, and identify key times and locations. Work your way around the park being sure to arrive at your key places at the appropriate time.
Disney TIP 18: Disney Photopass
18. Use Disney Photopass cards and get pictures taken with all the disney photographers. There is no commitment to buy any of the pictures but you can still see them and you may be surprised at the quality of some of the pictures.
The Photo CD is good value if you want lots of pictures. You retain copyright, so you can edit, print and copy the pictures as much as you want.
You can now add photos from your own digital camera to the CD at any of the Disney Photo processing venues. This has been done to address the huge increase in digital photography. Film processing is no longer available.

Disney TIP 19: Ride Photographs
19. Some of the rides that take your picture now allow you to add the picture to the photopass. This is not well advertised so be sure to check with the cast members. At the moment this appears to apply only to Test Track at Epcot, but is expected to be added to other rides in the future.
Disney TIP 20: Bags in Parks
20. Don't take a bag to the parks if you don't need to. This will allow you to go straight through the security check with very little delay. Bag checking can take time during busy periods
Disney TIP 21: Getting there early
21. If you arrive at park opening time, decide beforehand which ride you are going to go on first and go straight there. It is easy to get 4 or 5 rides on something like Buzz Lightyear at Magic Kingdom in the first half hour. Visit this great Disney related site to get more tips
