Halloween Costumes for the Phineas and Ferb Gang

If your kids are fans of Phineas and Ferb, they may be telling you that this year they want to dress as their favorite character - whether it is Phineas, Ferb, Candace, or Perry the Platypus! Your first question is, "What do you need to know to make sure the outfit you come up with will work?"

You can always buy a premade costume. They range from very inexpensive to expensive - depending on the quality of the fabrics and materials used. Some include rubber heads that attach to the outfit for a true "look and feel" of the character. However, if you know just a bit more about each character, you can certainly design a costume on your own that is certain to make any young trick-or-treater happy.

WARNING: BEFORE YOU BUY YOUR PHINEAS, FERB or PERRY COSTUME...

Lucky enough I found a Phineas costume & received it a few weeks ago! I also found someone from NY that had all the costumes listed on eBay. I reached out and said I would like all of them. Bought each of them for the fair price that they were selling on eBay and have been waiting since the last week of September for the costumes to arrive. On October 1st 2010 - Disney is not allowing people to sell these costumes. With that said - PLEASE don't buy them. I received refund through eBay.

Phineas and Ferb Costumes are very hard to get right now -but as soon as they are available we will get them on this lens. In the mean time - I am planning on creating a Perry costume for my kids -- so when I get it figured out -- I will let you know.

    Hi my bff and I are going as Phineas and Ferb and we don't know where to find the costumes and we can't make them! So where ever you found those costumes we rally need a pair!!!!!!

    HI 22Lova - thanks for responding. You see - that's the thing - you can't buy these costumes anywhere that I know of - but you can easily put clothes together for the costume. Go to a thift store and start looking for your size and make the outfit. Add some paint if you need to for Phineas' shirt and cut pants for Ferb's shorts and go from there. Good luck with it.

Hoping they come out with new ones soon - my kids want Perry especially. I haven't made one for them but it is definitely doable. If you make one - please let me know - I will post the picture on here if you'd like.

As a perpetual optimist who is extremely creative, smart, and persistent, his look is like that of any other boy his age: average and simple. With his triangle head topped with a cluster of red hair, he dons an orange and white large horizontal striped shirt, blue, knee-length shorts, and blue and white shoes.

Ferb is stepbrother to Phineas and Candace, and he epitomizes the word "nerd." Both courageous and clever, he is a technical and mechanical genius who is quick and can think on his feet. While is personality is somewhat unknown since he rarely speaks, his appearance is worlds apart from Phineas. Ferb has a cylindrical shaped head and torso. His head is topped with a green mop of hair. His beige shirt with noticeable white collar pale in comparison to his high-rise purple pants with white belt accent, and white and black shoes.

A No Sewing Required Halloween Costume

If your children are like mine then they love watching Phineas and Ferb. Its only natural that they might want to dress up as Phineas and Ferb for Halloween or maybe you're the big Phineas and Ferb fan and want to dress up as one of the characters yourself. These kind hearted and creative step brothers make great Halloween costumes for siblings or friends to wear out trick or treating or to a costume party. There are a couple of Phineas and Ferb Halloween costumes on the market but they aren't very cute and are kind of expensive to buy. Not to worry though, you can make your own Phineas and Ferb costumes from inexpensive items you can purchase from either a retail or a thrift store.You may even already have some of items at home. Best of all there are no sewing skills required in making your own Phineas and Ferb Halloween costumes.

How to Make Your Own Semi- Homemade Phineas and Ferb Halloween Costumes

Phineas Costume
Phineas is the orange haired half of the stepbrother duo in the popular children's cartoon Phineas and Ferb. Here is a list of everything you will need if you or your child wants to dress up as Phineas this Halloween.

Materials Needed

Orange shirt
Off white fabric paint
Paint brush
Ruler
Pencil
Blue carpenter style shorts
Cardboard
Blue high top tennis shoes
Orange hair spray
Hair gel

Light purple belt
Scissors

    Thank you Bonnie! Currently this lens is at 475 overall with Squidoo - unbelieveable. over 700 visits this last week -- so glad that I can help others. I found an article by a K/Preschool teacher who describes how you can make your own Phineas and Ferb costumes. Great information for all. Best of luck everyone has Halloween approaches - if you can't find your costume - MAKE IT!
