Hello! I am just getting started with Pin Trading, and was just wondering, where do you find the best place in Walt Disney World Resort to trade is? I am staying at the Port Orleans French Quarter Resort and will be going to all 7 (Main) Theme Parks.

(And I bought a bunch of pins online, just in case you were wondering. Please don't direct me to eBay! ;))

Lanyards aren't required, lots of people use the bags as well :) It just makes it a little easier for cast members to spot the children who are trading if they're walking around with lanyards on, so you may have to go up to trade with them instead. [in reply to Williams]

My kids are wanting to start their pin trading collection. Do you have to wear a lanyard to trade? I was thinking of using those disney messenger bags for my 8 and 6 year old so they could put their autograph books in there too.

We went to Disney World Florida last year and my 8 year old got hooked on trading anf found it so much fun, we went to Euro Disney in Nov08 and they are not that big on it there though. However he still had fun we are trying to save up to go back to Florida later this year.
We have just found out though that this week on my sons Birthday they are starting to sell pins in the UK so I am taking him to a store and he cant wait.
I advise everyone to have a go it is so much fun.

We just got back from Disneyland Resort yesterday after playing in the park for 3 days. I bought 4 pins and wondered how the pin trading thing worked but couldn't get any answers. Now when we go back I will be prepared, thank you for all the good advice and tips!

A tip for the kids~ Aqua lanyards worn by Disney Cast members are for kid pin trading only. ;-)
