Here's How to Bring To Make Walt Disney World Recipes At Home.
The easiest way to do this is to ask for the recipe while you're still at the table. At most restaurants, you can ask your server for a recipe request form and the chef will email the recipe to the email address you provide. A few recipes may already be printed and ready to go - for example, the Brown Derby restaurant at Disney's Hollywood Studios theme park has their signature "Grapefruit Cake" recipe printed on a derby hat shaped recipe card.
If you've already come home, there are still ways to get the recipes:
1.) Check the collection of Disney recipes at the website link provided below.
2.) Purchase one of the Disney cookbooks or check to see if they're available through your local library.
3.) Email Disney requesting the recipe. This method has mixed levels of success. You may or may not get a reply. Be sure to include the name of the dish and the restaurant where you ate it.

Crisp Rice Cereal Sushi Recipe
From the California Grill at Disney's Contemporary Resort

- Serves: Makes 32 pieces of "sushi"
- Total Time: Probably about 30 minutes total
These rice krispie sushi treats are fairly easy to make but are very cute and seem to really impress kids & adults.

- 1 (10- ounce) package miniature marshmallows
- 6 cups crisp rice cereal

2.) MELT butter or margarine in a Dutch oven over medium heat. Add marshmallows, stirring until melted; remove from heat. Stir in rice cereal until blended.

5.) CUT each roll into 4 slices. Serve with chopsticks, if desired.
Lesson in Tonga Toast at Disney%u2019s Polynesian Resort at Walt Disney World Resort
Tonga Toast
Walt Disney World Resort recipe

- Serves: 2 - 4
- Prep Time: Approximately 20 minutes
- Total Time: 30 - 40 minutes
Disney's Polynesian resort is one of the original Walt Disney World Resort hotels and Tonga Toast is a breakfast treat service in the Kona Cafe and Captain Cook's (food court). My wife and I like to go over to the Polynesian resort food court around 8AM and split an order of Tonga Toast and some form of protein to balace out the sweetness. Then we head over to the Magic Kingdom by 8:40AM so we're there when the park opens. But you can make Tonga Toast at home too and just pretend that you're at Disneyworld.
Ingredients
- 2 or 4 slices sourdough bread
- cut 1 to 1 1/2 inches thick
- 1 banana
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 egg
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
- oil or shortening for frying
- whipped butter and/or syrup
Instructions
Cut a 1-inch pocket in one side of each bread slice. Cut banana in half crosswise, then split each piece lengthwise. Remove peel and stuff two pieces of fruit in each pocket of bread; set aside. Mix sugar and cinnamon; set aside. Mix together well the egg, milk and vanilla.
Heat about 4 inches of oil in a pan to 350ยบ F. Dip stuffed bread into egg/milk mixture and let it soak a few seconds to let penetrate bread. Fry bread on both sides in hot oil until lightly browned, about 3 minutes. Drain on paper towels or wire rack. Sprinkle with cinnamon sugar and serve

- We seem to eat at the same restaurants every time we go (Sci-Fi Diner, 50's Primetime Cafe, Rainforest Cafe, Chef Mickeys). Our favorite of all though is probably the Beirgarten. My husband lived in Germany when he was little and it brings back a lot of happy memories. And the food is yummy!
