    I guess maybe we were the only ones who didn't lie the character meal but I thought for the money it was a huge waste.

    A long time ago, I had a character breakfast at the Contemporary - it was a lot of fun and I'd love doing it again sometime!

    We had a character meal on New Years Eve 09 in Crystal Palace at Magic Kingdom with Winnie the Pooh, Tigger and Piglet, we absolutely loved it as did our mothers who are 83 and 72. For what you get for the experience, we did not feel that it was expensive.

    I love Tusker House and Chef Mickey's

    No I have not and would love to see the latest on Dining with Disney characters, do you plan on doing a 2010 or 2011 version? I am thinking about taking my kids there in the next couple of years.

    Nice! Dining with WDW characters would be a nice treat for my kids. Might as well set a date and book ourselves this year. Wonderful lens! 5*

    We've gone to Chef Mickey and the Princess Breakfasts and have loved them all! 5*
  • misserika Aug 10, 2009 @ 3:33 am | delete
    That sounds great! It's a very adorable idea for the kids. Well, at the back of my head, I want to dine with Cinderella and Sleeping Beauty.
  • MissPearlySwan Aug 7, 2009 @ 6:44 am | delete
    We visited recently for our first ever family trip to WDW. Here are the character meals we were fortunate to have experienced.

    Cinderella's Royal Table (Cinderella, Fairy Gofmother, Mice);
    Chef Mickey's (Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Pluto, Donald);
    Tusker House (Daisy, Donald, Goofy, Pluto);
    Cape Mae Cafe (Minnie, Goofy, Donald);
    Princess Storybook Arkeshus (Ariel, Cinderella, Snow White, Belle, and Aurora);
    Crystal Palace (Winnie, Tiger, Eeyore, Piglet);
    Ohana's (Stitch, Lilo, Mickey, Pluto, Goofy).

    Chef Mickey's was voted the best overall experience by everyone in our family. However, I ranked as my favorites, Arkeshus and Cinderella's Royal Table. Darling husband liked Chef Mickeys best. Darling daughter loved Arkeshus and Cape Mae Cafe. And darling son ranked bothTusker House and Ohana's equally.

    If we had to do only one, it would be Chef Mickey's. Top Notch!

    I have never had a character meal - never been to DisneyWorld! I have DisneyWorld on my list for places to take my family! 5*
  • KimGiancaterino May 2, 2009 @ 8:44 pm | delete
    I sure would have loved this as a kid, but that's what's so great about Disneyland (and Disney World). You can still be a kid, no matter what age you are. Squid Angel Blessed.
  • luvmyludwig Apr 10, 2009 @ 7:14 am | delete
    I just stopped by to say thank you for the blessing. I really appreciate it and the encouragement toward giant squid.
    I love all your lenses. I love Disney, and can't wait to go again. There is a wealth of information here. Why is it that Donald is so scarce in Character dining? He's my favorite and always has been. hmmm....
  • kiwisoutback Mar 25, 2009 @ 1:41 pm | delete
    Well done, as always! My nieces went for a character breakfast a couple of years ago and loved it. I'm featuring this lens on the ExSquidition Travel Blog.

    Wow - what a great lens - you've packed a lot of useful detail in here too. I've never done a character breakfast but they look like great fun.

    I've just started writing my own Disney lens - it's early days but hopefully you'll stop by - I'd appreciate your feedback :)

    Awesome Lens! 5*! Our favorite is Chef Mickey's Character Breakfast at the Contemporary. My son goes crazy over the Mickey Mouse shaped waffles. I have to admit they are pretty cool! It's a fun way to start the day, there's a great variety with all you care to eat and you don't miss a lot of Park Time by catching the breakfast and can still get a full day in at the parks. My son and I recommend Chef Mickey's!

    Really nice lens, 5* from me :)

    Breakfast with Goofy sounds like a lot of fun. I haven't been to Disney World in years. I want to go again. Going without kids will be a lot different but just as much fun.
    5*

    Hi EverythingMouse,

    Thanks so much for stopping by my Man Made Marvels lens and blessing it. I've been reading some of your lenses too and I really enjoyed reading them. Being a cartoon producer myself I really like your cartoon lenses. :)

    You mean I can dine with a Rat? Ratatouille is my favorite! You make me want to go back to Disney!

    We'll never forget our character breakfast in California. We were seated by Belle and the Beast although (please forgive us) we didn't know who they were. However, we knew who Minnie was -- my husband's secret Girlfriend!!! My children loved it. I loved the decor!

    The food, was good, breakfast food. You can never forget a waffle shaped like a Mouse! My son will never forget his Dad adding cream to his fruit loops.

    Thanks for the memory. This page will be a lot of help to many people, I am sure!

    I agree Crystal Palace has to be one of the best. We have tried many of the others over the last 5 years or so and they are all good. As you have mentioned booking way ahead is essential if you don't want to risk disappointment. I also share your love of creating Disney Lens, keep up the good work.
