Boo To You

I've been to Walt Disney World at both Christmastime and Halloween. I've also been for July 4th and Star Wars Weekends. But perhaps my favorite time of year to visit the Mouse House is Halloween. The World has a number of Halloweenie (I'm making it a word) events to offer. And Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party at The Magic Kingdom is a blast. For both kids AND adults.

This is a work in progress and I'm going to be adding more to the lens soon to get it ready for all the guests who will be attending the Halloween festivities at WDW, so make sure to bookmark this page and come back often!

Have You Purchased Your Tickets, Yet?

Tickets are $52-64 for adults (YIKES!) and $46-$53. It's the happiest place on Earth, but it's gonna leave your pocketbook feeling very sad.

Hallowishes Firework Show at The Magic Kingdom

As I state in the YouTube description, I got jostled around a bit by the people around me during portions of this. But if you watch, you can see the show in its entirety. It's truly one of my favorites.

Hallowishes Fireworks - Walt Disney World

http://www.waltdisneyworldhacks.com This is the Hallowishes Fireworks spectacular at Walt Disney World. First, I apologize for the shakiness during the beginning and a few other times during the video. Apparently, some people don't understand the guy that comes over the loud speaker before the show and tells people not to move around in the pitch black darkness. The first part - someone was trying to situate their kid around me. The part right after "Never Smile at a Crocodile" a mother ran over me with her stroller and then knocked her own kid over. I tried to remove the voices, but if you listen closely, you can still hear the mother telling her kid to "get up" after she pushed him to the ground with the stroller (and after running over me). Lovely people in the World out there! Either way, this was filmed on October 23, 2006. I also apologize about the lightpost. Didn't realize that was going to be an issue until the show started. And at the end, I was just trying to get all the fireworks during the finale. Hope you enjoy it! Happy Halloween! Just an extra note: This is the show in its entirety, so it might take a little while to load. Enjoy!

What Is The Sleepy Hollow Hayride?

Walt Disney World's Sleepy Hollow Halloween Hayride at Fort Wilderness - Associated Content
My article at Associated Content gives a more thorough description of what to expect from the hayride at Fort Wilderness.

Sleepy Hollow Hayride at Fort Wilderness

This is some video I took of one of WDW's less publicized "events," The Sleepy Hollow Hayride. The ride takes place on the grounds of Fort Wilderness. Since this attraction is a bit tricky to find and get tickets for, I'll be adding a bit more information about how to experience this event soon. :)

Sleepy Hollow Halloween Hayride - Walt Disney World

http://www.waltdisneyworldhacks.com This is the Halloween Hayride that takes place at Fort Wilderness, the campground of Walt Disney World. This was filmed on October 25, 2006. The setting was, obviously, very dark, so some portions are very dark. Most was filmed using nightvision and, as such, you might see a few focus issues, but you can, at least, get a good idea of what this mysterious event is all about. Lots of fun and a completely different atmosphere from most of the parks.
