Disney World Maps Are the Secret to a Great Vacation
Whenever anyone asks the best way to start planning their vacation to Disney World, I answer with these words: good Disney World maps!
Did you know that Disney World is 47 square miles? Learning your way around will give you the inside track on so many things ...
First, you'll know what makes each park special. As you look around the maps, you'll see that each park has a different "personality." And you'll be able to decide on how much time you want to spend in each park.
Then, you'll know your way around. That will make sure that you get the most out of the time that you spend in the theme parks! Why spend time wandering around?
When you are doing what is most fun for you without wasting time, you'll have more fun! And isn't that what a Disney World vacation is all about?

An Overview of Walt Disney World
Start by checking out this Overview Map, printed on Page 3 of the EZ Fun Guide to Walt Disney World...
Many first-time visitors to Disney World don't realize that it's so big! The stats: Walt Disney World include 30,000 acres in sunny central Florida. That means it can take 15-30 minutes just to drive across the resort.
To help their guests get around, the folks at Disney divide Disney World into these major areas:
- Magic Kingdom Area
- Epcot Area
- Downtown Disney Area
- Animal Kingdom and Wide World of Sports Area (actually, Disney separates these two, but I find it easier to think of them as one)
Because the Resort is so large, don't wait until you arrive in Florida to learn your way around. Get you Disney World maps in advance, and have fun exploring!
