Haunted Mansion is definitely my favorite, but from there, it gets difficult. I'm actually working on my own top ten Disney rides for my MyWDW lens series - I'd better get cracking on figuring out my faves!

At Epcot, definitely "Soarin" is not to be missed, and it is VERY popular, so a fast pass will come in handy. The other ride that I love at Epcot, although often overlooked, is Living with the Land. It may not be exciting, but it is really interesting how agriculture is changing, and how scientists are trying to discover how to things using aquaculture, and hydroponics. They even grow pumpkins shaped like Mickey Ears. Don't miss it!

I haven't been to Disney World for years, But what I really enjoyed was Pirates of the Caribbean and the Peter Pan ride, not so much for the ride, but because of the view of London at night. But I don't know how you can include it's a small world on your list. The song is awful and the whole thing is just too sweet and cheesy. But, you almost have to go on the ride, it is such a part of Disney.

They used to have a ride, "20,000 Leagues Under the Sea" and you had to climb down into a submarine and ride around under water. It was kinda lame and disappeared in the 80's(?) Ever ride that one?
I like your lens. I've been to Disney more times than I needed to go...I lived an hour from there for 26 years. Your photos are awesome!!
  • HenryE May 15, 2009 @ 9:20 am | delete
Fantastic lens!!! I live in Florida so we get to visit often and I thought you did an excellent job of reviewing the park. Great pictures, too.

Great lens! I'm going to add your lens to my lens on Family Vacations Ideas http://www.squidoo.com/Family-Vacations (since one of our goals is to go to Disney World - this should give us some inspiration! I like the variety of rides - coasters to calm (for those of us who like to stay on the ground!) 5*!

One of our favorites is Pirates of the Caribbean. Imagine our delight when we found a pirate themed restaurant in Chong Qing, China. It was amazingly similar to the Pirates ride -- even had the guy in jail coaxing the dog with the keys. Quite funny! The restaurant owners had taken ideas liberally from Disney but of course not with the same attention to detail that you talked about.

Great lens! I was at Disney World back in 2000 and some of these weren`t built yet. I love, love, LOVE Space Mountain! I`ve been on it about 50 times in Disneyland (in three trips) and the Aerosmith ride was awesome, too. We wanted to go on the Test Track but it was closed for rain the day we went.
