A Well Kept Secret, That Wasn't Meant To Be

The Secret Revealed

There is a very well kept secret out there regarding saving for college for your children, grandchildren, relatives or friends.
I'd like to tell you what the secret is and how it works. Trust me, this is well worth looking into and getting involved in.

This secret which isn't suppose to be a secret has received more press in the last few years and it has been getting more popular but a I'm quite surprised it hasn't taken off more than it has. Imagine saving for college and it not costing you a thing other than what you spend on normal everyday living.

For instance:

* When you go grocery shopping you could be saving for college.

* When you go for dinner you could be saving for college.

* When you fuel up your vehicles you could be saving for college.

* When you shop for clothing or numerous other items you could be saving for college.

Basically how it works is you register your credit and debit cards with a company called U-Promise. Whenever you use those cards to buy merchandise from specific stores you get a percentage of what you spent put into an account with U-Promise. You can even apply for a Charge card through U-Promise and everytime you use that card you get an extra percentage of the purchased deposited in your U-Promise account.

With that money you have saved in that account you can transfer to one of many 529 accounts that are offered nationally. If your not familiar with 529 accounts, they are tax-deferred college savings funds.

This is a great opportunity for new parents or new grandparents to start a college savings fund for their children or grandchildren.

I've just touched the tip of the iceberg as far as the various ways you can save for college using an account with U-Promise.
I suggest you take a look at it and take advantage of the opportunity as soon as you can. You won't be disappointed!
