    Distance elearning has increased significantly the recent years and I understand why; the freedom of being able to study in your own pace from the comfort of your home. Great lens§

    I used distant learning to study marketing while I was working full time at a computer job. Like you mentioned it is hard to stay motivated and disciplined at times but when you get use to pushing yourself distant learning becomes a wonderful opportunity.

    I was able to work full time during the day and then learn at night via a distant learning college. Highly recommended.

    I have taken a couple of distance learning courses and they have worked out great, but you are right, you need a lot of discipline and motivation. My Mum completed her whole Bachelors Degree of English by distance, whilst raising 3 kids - a serious accomplishment.

    Online distance learning is really great for people who work online like me. I love learning and been hunting for online colleges for some time now. I learned a lot from your lens, thanks for the great info.

    Seeking education and knowledge is never a waste of time. Great info in your lens. It's so true that when we think of distance learning, we usually think that it is easier than attending a regular college but in some ways it does take way more self-discipine and you do need to find your own motivation as no one will be there to push you along.
