Ways To Reduce Debt
Below are a few things you can ditch:1. Ditch your car. By walking, bicycling, or taking public transportation you will be surprised how much money you will save. You'll save on car payments, gasoline, parking, and speeding tickets.
2. Ditch going out for dinner. Eating out gets to be expensive if you do it too often; instead by making your own meals you will save more money.
3. Ditch paying monthly banking fees- You should not get suckered into paying those monthly banking fees such as checking fees or minimum account balance fees. Find a bank that does not charge these automatic fees and you will be saving at least $120 a year.
4. Ditch going out to shopping malls. Since window shopping is very difficult, do not even tempt yourself to buy that new gadget. Instead be patient and wait a month or two and the price will certainly go down or better yet you may even realize that you never needed to buy that gadget in the first place.

5. Ditch buying the "extended warranty". Every time you purchase a new electronic or high ticket item, your next up sell would be the extended warranty. Always remember that this is hugely profitable for the retailer and not for you. Most of the time, your new product already comes with a 90-day or 1-year warranty.
6. Ditch your current cell phone plan. If you've had the same cell phone plan for a couple of years, chances are there's something better out there. Shop around or call your current provider and ask for a better deal.
7. Ditch traveling on credit. Even if you feel you are in a dire need to go on vacation, NEVER fund this trip on your credit card. You should focus on credit card debt reduction rather than incurring additional debt. Keep in mind that if you cannot pay cash then you must realize that you cannot afford to go on vacation at this time.
