Is There Life Without a Credit Card in Your Wallet?

Stay with me on this one, but there is something missing from the experts opinions on the economic squeeze, they talk about rising oil prices, falling house prices, irresponsible lending, sub-prime mortgages and all variations on the theme, but there is one little demon that has played it's part in demolishing people's finances in the short term, the medium term and the long term and you will not be surprised to hear it is the CREDIT CARD.

Can there really be life without a credit card? If you use one well, of course there are benefits, if you just use them to buy "stuff", pay interest to the banks and loan companies each month you are in danger of damaging any hope of building wealth. I've put together this lens to help others see credit cards for what they really are.

Use the Law of Attraction To Get Yourself Debt Free & Stay There

If you are a fan of The Secret then you will know that part of the film asks the question "How Do I Get More Of The Green Stuff In My Life?"

My success in my own quest for debt and mortgage freedom was it's use of tried and tested BUSINESS PRACTISES applied to everyday situations.

The basis of the formula I created called Control Freak a Recipe for Debt Freedom was introduced when I carried out a mini survey of how people ( who were not from a small business background ) went about controlling their finances.

In business you have to account for every penny coming in and every penny going out. It is a daily practise full of reconciliation, budget control, cost cutting, profit analysis, purchase control and many more elements that add up to being the nucleus of running your own business.

They say the hardest thing to see in the world is something that is right under your nose and for whatever reason, even though the discipline was evident in my business working life, there was no thought in my head that personal finances actually required the same amount of purpose and effort.

To therefore succeed in my quest, I knew how to put together a program that would turn "Mr & Mrs Smith" into "Mr & Mrs Smith Ltd" as if they were running their home income and expenditure as a business, the results speak for themselves, and Control Freak a Recipe for Debt Freedom was born.

Using the Law of Attraction in Your Quest

When I first came across the Law of Attraction through Rhonda Byrne's The Secret, I understood for the first time WHY my formula worked so well. If you have seen or read The Secret, you will know that one of the greatest philosophers of our time, Bob Proctor had this to say about getting out of debt

"Most people have a goal of getting out of debt, that'll keep you in debt forever.

Whatever you are thinking about you will attract.

You'll say "But it's get Out of DEBT",

I don't care if it's get out or get in if you're thinking Debt you're attracting DEBT.

Set up an automatic debt repayment program system and the start to focus on prosperity."

Had I not experienced this myself, then I would not be able to resonate with how true this is, and that is the hidden power behind a debt repayment program like the Control Freak Recipe, because it switches all those feelings of being a victim, into positive action of doing something about it. It's so powerful that we created a new website about the topic itself, see the link to Debt On Autopilot.

7 Ways To Get Out of Debt And Still Stay Popular With Your Friends

It seems that the worm has turned on loose credit and low rate mortgages to the point where a huge amount of the population are faced with the need to tighten the purse strings and curb the impulse expenditure.

Now this in itself is not hard to do with all the information available plus some great formulated plans that are easy to follow such as Debt on Autopilot which uses the Law of Attraction rules to put debt payments to the back of your mind so you can focus on wealth and prosperity instead.

So with all the information available and plans to follow we need to take a closer look at why more people do not opt into this advice or follow these plans to debt freedom.

Maybe the real reason behind the defiance to carry on regardless until the debt collectors are calling is more to do with saving face than we previously thought. Is it really so hard to delay short term gratification in favour of long term ultimate salvation?

It would seem that peer pressure and the constant need to keep up appearances in todays society is simply too much to lose if it means not being able to wear Dolce and Gabbana or Gucci for a year or so in favour of mountains of credit card debt instead.

So here are the definitive 7 rules to get out of debt and still stay popular with your friends.

1. Make sure the designer label on the jeans is showing, but shop for the top and accessories at a high street store or even a supermarket as they all carry great ranges these days.

2. Explain that you are in a 3 year contract for your cell phone because it comes with 1000 free texts every day.

3. Insist that you only ever create your own home made cards because they are so much more personal and mean so much more.

4. Order any alcoholic drink mixed with soda at a bar or restaurant because it usually comes free and reduces the cost of the drink by half.

5. Learn how to cook great pasta dishes and have friends round for a movie night all they have to bring is themselves and dessert. Not only is pasta delicious when bought in bulk it is really inexpensive.

6. Go vintage with some of your latest looks and shop in charity and seconds shops for key items, not only will you assemble a totally individual look to rival Kate Moss, you will save yourself oodles of cash.

7. Learn how to get the same look as your favourite celebrity but at a fraction of the cost. You can always cut out the label in the clothes and wear it with pride, knowing you have the hottest look on the planet but you haven't reached for your credit card once.

As with anything that is worth doing well, between mail order, the supermarkets and high street stores anyone can save bundles of money without losing face and switch over indulgence spending surpluses to an automatic debt repayment program. If you simply carried on making these switches for just a few years most people would be free to experience a whole new way of life.
