This lens offers useful information about underwater cameras. Is it possible to rent underwater cameras when diving in Hawaii or the Caribbean? I would plan on getting a good underwater camera for any vacation that includes a diving excursion. Were there some new innovations at the Consumer Electronics show in Vegas this year?

Excellent information about underwater cameras. It provide a unique chance to photograph a world that is often inaccessible with digital cameras. It is also very useful for marine biologists and scientists.

All of us should dive with care. Take nothing from our dive trips except photos ; )

I've not done really any diving - does snorkelling count? However, I would have loved to have had one of these dive cameras with me while I was doing it. Frankly, the rest of the family would never believe my stories of what I had seen. I did not embellish them at all I swear - but don't bet on that!

There are so many sights that could be found underwater but the only problem is how to get them. Oh wait... Nice lens. Now capturing them in photos would be possible. lol.

Interesting to hear about the new technology for underwater cameras. I have never used one but the ones I saw were always big, bulky and expensive. The smaller size will make it usable for more of us that are interested in outside photography.
