How Do You Access Divorce Public Records Online?

Divorce is a difficult event for those who have to experience it, and the last hassle anyone wants to go through after such a difficult time is the process of getting extra records of the divorce, or replacement copies of records that were lost. There are many resources available to you online, which will allow you some anonymity and an easy process of getting your divorce records.

If you were to search for sites that would give you access to divorce court records, you'll find that there are too many to choose from. Some sites are upfront about what they offer, and some aren't. When it comes to finding divorce court records online, you must first determine what type of records you need. Are you looking for a divorce certificate? Do you need original marriage information? Do you need something stating the names of those involved? Do you need a copy of the divorce decree stating the conditions of the divorce?

Of the sites available, http://freedivorcerecords.org/ is one of the most popular. This site will allow you to search divorce records and other pertinent information regarding the divorce court records. This site doesn't allow access to the actual divorce decree. The availability of the information is not guaranteed, but the search you perform will show you what they have available. You will be able to search for free, but you will have to pay for access to the records themselves.

Another popular site is PublicRecordsFinder. They have services similar to PublicRecordsPro, but they offer certified copies of the divorce certificate and you can actually access in-depth court records, including specific details such as dates and the location of the court.

When it comes to securing copies of the actual divorce decree, which states the conditions of alimony or child support, your best avenue is contacting the lawyer who represented either the husband or the wife. You may also contact the actual court records location for a transcript of the divorce hearing which would also contain this information. As of yet, no website has been able to accurately provide this specific information as a part of their services.

Anyone can search public court records, whether offline or online, but sometimes people prefer the anonymity of the internet. Using the internet for divorce court records is a viable avenue, depending on the information that you require.
