Have you ever made your own toys?

We like to make the Kool-Aid Playdough a lot. And we made our own sticker book with a 3 ring binder, page protectors and appropriate backgrounds (ie: a haunted house for Halloween stickers) printed from the internet - which you can first color - to slide into the protectors.

    this is a fun and useful craft that not only encourages kids to practice their creative skills, but also gives them a finished product they can play with long after the crafting is done. thanks for some useful resources.

    My hubby always says when he was little all he had for toys was "...a hobby horse and a string on a stick...and the string on the stick depended on whether or not the head of the horse was still on the stick!"

    I have made many of my own toys, both when I was a child an' since I've become a (ahem!) responsible adult. My grandies an' I love making toys an' games to play with together. I would love to see the video if you know where it can be found. Thanks for such great ideas.

    I have never made my own toys. I have considered build a bear before, but they are so expensive, and I personally don't like clothing my teddy bears. But some of these ideas in your lens sound fun! I might just have to try them out.

    No, not yet ... unless you count that string thing you do with your hands and somebody plays with the string -- in and out -- then I have made my own toy!
