This do-it-yourself baseball card makes the perfect gift for the little-leaguer in your family. It's not just for kids though as adults can fulfill their fantasies of being featured on their very own baseball card. All you beer-league and softball players can now make it a reality.
The card features easy-to-use template fields to insert your own photo and baseball statistics on the back. There is an area to "engrave" your own name on a silver, "metal" nameplate. Type in your name and watch the text change right before your eyes! The stats on the back allow for two seasons so you can compare your performance from the previous season. There is also a row to total up the two seasons.

You can even change the colors of the card's front and back to one of your own preference to. The silver matte on the front goes well with any color.

Classic wooden baseball bats adorn the top of the card along with a pair of batter's helmets where you can insert your player's number and position. Completing the theme are a couple of silhouetted baseball players in action poses.

* Customizable Background Colors (front and back)
* Individual Stats Editing
* Improved Stats and Text Alignment
* Improved Photo Upload (automatically re-sizes any photo to card's dimensions)
* Better Graphics (classic, wood-grained bats and batter's helmets)
* Engraved and Riveted Metal Nameplate* (front)
* Tri-Toned Background on Back
* Comparative Current and Last Season Stats
* Larger Text Area for Personal Trivia
* Various Matte Choices

The card is virtually 100% customizable by the user. About the only thing a customer can't edit (as in change color) is the 3D silver frame you see on the front of the card. The workaround to this problem is I have created a variety of stylish mattes that will be available on separate cards.

Back

*Note: This image reproduction of the card's back is only meant to illustrate its layout appearance and is not a representation of the print quality of the card. To view the true image quality of the card's back, click the card's front further above and choose the back view.

We received a lot of feedback concerning the card's back and many of you suggested you wanted a card that looked like an authentic baseball card. As you can see, the back of the custom baseball card is completely detailed like you might see on one from Upper Deck for example. The background colour is easily changeable by you, the customer. Stats can be edited in real time as the numbers and text change as you type them in. There is almost no limit to the customization process.

Gum. Yes or No?

Reader Feedback

Some collectors are old enough to remember when a stick of bubble gum was included in every pack of baseball cards. It was like this for decades. Then one day, card producers discontinued this practice and never looked back. It just seemed so strange. The two products were associated with each other for so long that it was hard to imagine one without the other. For many collectors, that is when the joy went out of the hobby and was replaced by business and dollar signs. What are your thoughts?

Do you wish packs of baseball cards were still sold with bubble gum?

Loading

Yes, I miss that tradition.

MTF-briguy says:

Even though, I remember the extra treat of getting "bubble gum" when I collected sports cards! With the price of cards lately, I can't imagine how much the price would increase especially with "Bubble gum" added

No! It leaves a stain and ruins the cards' value.
