Being a Father will be the best thing i will ever experience.......I Truly believe that
This lens is about my experience (So Far) Into Fatherhood.
Being A New Father
A Priceless Experience
The day i saw the ultrasound it was breathtaking, especially when i heard it was a BOY.., i felt like twice the man i was a day ago. i treated his mother like a queen making sure she was always happy (they say the baby will feel the mother's emotions), The day he was born on 11/14/2007 i was so excited but also worried cause i know it would be hard for his mother and the fear of complications during birth, I've already created such a bond, that i already couldn't imagine life without him. As he grew it just fills me up when he acknowledges me it's like he already knew who i was, i saw him smile for the first time and i was so thrilled to see that he inherited my dimple on the cheek (right side, same side as mine) he has his mother's eyes, hair, my lips, complexion nose ears and smile, He is the world to me and i just want to watch him grow, for the first time i am excited about getting older i just want to see him grow up into a man. I often worry about his outcome but i will do everything in my power to raise him into being a better man than i am.

Seeing him hurt himself for the first time was shocking, i almost shed a tear, i had to be strong for him even if he does not yet know what it means, he is still getting the hang of creeping and he tripped over his hands and hit his mouth with all his body weight on the hard tiled floor, he cried for minutes, his lip was red with bloodshot, i was so sorry for him. In about 10 mins he seemed o.k because i resumed trying to bite me in the neck with his newly sprouting teeth (two of em) ever since he started growing them he's been threatening me always trying to bite me when i put him over my shoulder. so amusing.

At 7 months he is now holding on to anything vertical and standing up, he climbs everything (well he tries). It feels kinda weird how he cries after me when i leave for work sometimes, whenever he comes in my hands he starts laughing cause he is just ready for the fun and games as i am always playing with him, he's a fun baby, his laughter is hilarious, his features are so bold now, like i can see what he will look like as a young man. He gets more curious everyday, he notices the smallest things. Anywhere.

I agree, being a parent is a priceless experience for those who take the time out to appreciate it. Im a mother to a 4yr old girl(as you already know)and everyone thinks she is a mini version of me(which makes me blush everytime), so i do get how watching them grow, learn and adapt to this world is a breathtaking sight.
I just want to say to you keep being there for your son, keep loving him (always let him know by words as well as action) be proud of his achievements no matter how small or petty it might seem. Our children are suppose to be the better version of ourselves and we are the ones responsible for them and who they turn out to be.
(I smiled throughtout reading what you wrote, I was abit taken back by the fact that i could feel how much you love and adore your son, thats a blessing. Way to put your thoughts on paper... Welcome to parenthood).
CONTINUE BEING A GOOD FATHER TO YOUR CHILD, WE NEED FATHERS LIKE YOU AROUND.
