DO GHOSTS EXIST?
There's no such thing as a ghost. Or is there?
Ghosts exist in popular culture and in ghost stories, but are there really disembodied spirits in cemeteries and haunted houses? There are many groups today (like Ghost Hunters
There are also those that debunk the existence of ghosts like Penn & Teller.

I think there's just too much evidence to deny ghosts exist these days. I think they do and I have encountered them on several occasions. I have friends that thought they didn't exist until they saw one themselves. Once you see a ghost, you know it and never forget it.

I have a very good friend who sees ghosts/spirits/whatever somewhat frequently, though she doesn't talk about them much. She's seen kind spirits who wish they could talk to their living relatives, but she's also had to move out of an apartment because of angry spirits that wouldn't leave. I don't think she can hear them - she does kind of get vibes from them though.

I have attended "ghost hunts," and I will say this: picking up electromagnetic fields or getting ticks on a Geiger counter (and, in my experience, small ones at that) is not grounds for a declaration of paranormal activity. Until the existence of ghosts is proven, I will respectfully decline to believe in them, in much the same way I respectfully decline to believe in the existence of Gremlins every time my car breaks down. And I'm no mechanic.

I think that you see what you want to see and you hear what you want to hear a lot. If you go into a house that is supposedly "haunted," you are thinking and maybe hoping that you will see actual ghosts, so when you hear a noise you can't explain or see something, you attribute it to ghosts. It could always be a strange reflection of light, a creak in the floorboard, or just a random occurrence.

You have to hit the physics books if your understanding of physics is so bad. Did you ever read about the 3rd law of thermodynamics? Energy keeps existing but loses coherence (becomes randomly distributed) unless you apply some energy to keep it organized (brain structures operation).
The electrical impulses in the brain do irradiate photons outwards (EM radiation), but since the brain stops working when you die, then there is no more electrical impulses and no more EM radiation being generated. Additionally, electromagnetism radiated by a brain is so tiny that we need exceptionally sensitive equipment very close to the brain to pick it up in a sea of EM noise. And even if it is picked up, there is not much sense we can make from it.
The energy that was radiated from the brain when the person was alive is tiny, and it dissipates at the inverse square of the distance.
Without the brain, how do you propose that consciousness is kept working?
