Do Not Stand At My Grave And Weep - 2007
An updated version from Lucie Storrs of the classic poem
The middle verse was added in 2007 by Lucie Storrs to lengthen the poem for the movie version.
Be sure to see the You Tunes link below to view this remarkable video.
- Do not stand at my grave and weep.
I am not there; I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow;
I am the diamond glints on snow.
I am the sunlight on ripened grain;
I am the gentle autumn's rain.
Do not stand at my grave and mourn.
I am the dew-flecked grass at dawn.
Where tranquil oceans meet the land
I am the footprints in the sand
To guide you through the weary day.
I am still here; I'll always stay.
When you wake up to morning's hush
I am the swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the stars that shine at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry.
I am not there; I did not die.
