The burning answer is..

Wait! I can't give it away yet! Why? Because the answer to eating a spider or spiders while sleeping is not that simple!

To be honest I was confused myself when I first heard that we eat spiders in our sleep. Never thought about such a thing...

Now I don't want you to experience the same spider confusion I had so I did some research and this page on do we swallow or eat spiders while sleeping is what I came up with.

Hope after this you can get some sleep! Does that mean we eat spiders? I didn't say so! Cheers!

Thank you to all who nominated my spider lens for charity in the sunshine squidoo competition. Although my lens did not get in just wanted you to know I appreciated all your efforts

There are so many charities out there but being a writer for squidoo this is the one I have chosen - why? It's not because I think Squidoo is better than anyone else but like spiders who are admirable for their unique web spinning ability so is squidoo! I like to call Squidoo the mother of charities! I love writing for them and I love even more that they have teamed up with a whole bunch of charities not just one or two! Something to be admired for!

For the official sunshine award results see squidoo's blog here If you nominate my lens to charity and I win, this lens get $99 dollars which goes to charity! The writer of the lense also gets $99 which they can decide to keep for them self or give away to charity! Nominations ends on the 27th August 2010!

You may not know this but spiders and I are no friends. These arachnid insects not only annoy me but they creep me out too. Eeek! The thought of spiders in my mouth and then in my stomach? How am I ever going to sleep?

Help! What would you do if you found out that we do eat spiders in our sleep? I would scream or maybe cry! And spray my room every night. Try to seal it all around and cover from head to foot when sleeping or maybe put a sock over my face so spiders cannot get into my mouth when I sleep. This way i won't have to eat them.

Yeah, I know, the "sock over face" does not sound too very practical right? Well what would you do? Hey..I am only now beginning to think! Gimme a break will ya :)
