LinkedIn versus Facebook versus Twitter
Do you prefer LinkedIn, Twitter, or Facebook?
Sometimes it feels like we're a cat chasing a laser when it comes to social networking. Not sure if we should go left, right, or straight. Either way, it does not matter, because it feels like we are chasing our own social networking tail. However, there are differences very distinct between all them, and it is your job to figure out which one works best for you. So let me help you make that choice a little bit easier both
So let's look directly into the laser and towards Facebook first. Facebook seems like it is everywhere these days doesn't from TV commercials, everywhere you go online, due to Facebook connect, and in conversation wherever you go. Everyone has heard that story of a college student at Harvard, who in two weeks created a site that became such a phenomenon that he moved to San Francisco and built a worldwide social networking empire. However behind the story, we can actually see why people actually like Facebook. It is not because of a story, and is because of the fact that every day we interact with people that we like and we know who have similar interest to us.
However, do not forget the power of LinkedIn. While they are not as large as Facebook, they have a much more stable and passionate base than the prior social network. The reason is obvious; their base is all business people looking to connect, and it is the place to go to connect with other businesses. No one else has been able to come close to defining that space as well as linked in.
The final network on our list is Twitter. Twitter is the short messaging service that can. For Twitterati, 140 characters is a way of life. The great thing is that it can serve so many purposes behind such a simple place. Everything from customer service to team collaboration to quality control to branding and prospecting can occur on the site.
In the end, it really does not matter which one you like better. It matters which one works best for you. Test all three of them out and find out how to optimize Twitter, LinkedIn, and Facebook to get additional business for you to grow.
