- Tom Baker and Peter Davison were my Doctors so when the Beeb brought it back in 2003 I watched the first episode and didn't watch the rest of the series, as I felt Christopher was more like a Northern detective then a 900 year old Time Lord. Then David Tennant came alone and convinced me to not only to watch the Dr again but also to go back and watch the Eccleston episodes. Now I'm completely hooked again.

- I confess I stopped watching the new series as wasn't keen on the new Doc or Amy Pond... but I will give them another go when it's next on to see if they are any better! David Tennant was definitely the best - but I did enjoy Christopher Eccleston too.

- I only started watching Dr Who during the 3rd of the new series, in fact it was one of the first TV programs I followed after growing up without a TV. Having caught up with all the new series Tennant's my favourite new dr (to be expected as he was my 1st) although I must say Matt Smith is doing a very good job. I've also started watching as much of the classics as I can get my hands on. I seem to have missed the 1st and most of the 2nd drs episodes but I have managed to get hold of most of Pertwee's work which I am enjoying immensely so far. I especially love the chemistry between Pertwee & Delgado's Master.

- This is one of my favourite television shows and so grateful that BBC America is showing it over here. I can remember hiding behind the sofa when William Hartnell was the Doctor, and have followed it ever since.

- I love this show!!! My husband who is a long time fan of Dr. Who didn't think I would like it (even though I love science fiction) and almost talked me out of watching it. lol!!! I totally surprised him by loving the show. I also watch Torchwood along with him. I'm just really sad to see David Tenant leave. He was an awesome doctor! Great lens. Blessed by an Angel.

- Oh no, a new doctor? Say it aint so! I like David Tennant. And I really don't like Donna. Can someone find a Dalek to exterminate her please? I prefer my travelling companions to have a few brains, how about we bring back Martha.

- I haven't followed the series of Dr. Who, but the way that you write about it, it seems like a show that I could really get into. Either that or you're just a good writer that could sell used cars too. Really, I'm going to have to check it out.

- The Christmas special was pretty good - Galifreyan's returning.. If the Daleks can, why not. My favourite special (being a robot fanatic) was "The Second Doctor" - which has a steampunk like robot stomping of Victorian England. Anyhow - I have this lensrolled on Sci Fi Giant Robots and Mecha.

- I wish Matt all the best, because he is following in huge, huge footsteps, but - I will stop with David. I have loved most of the Doctors, was glad to have met a number of them along the way, but no one has topped David. Like Rose, I found my one true love, and I will stick with him...Great lens!

- I have loved Doctor Who since I was teenager and I am passing it down to my daughter (she comes to a complete stop whenever she hears the title song!) I am sad that David is leaving, but look forward to "meeting" the new Doctor. Peter Davison was my first and most beloved Doctor:)

- Great Series, though surely there is some mistake in having them start at Series 1? Surely that was made in the 60's and there has been quite a few series since!
How about a poll for your favorite Doctor? Mine has to be a close run thing between Tom Baker & Paul McGann (only appeared once in a film)

- We are way behind in Canada but I wish that they would stay with the same Doctor for more than a season or two. But my British husband says that changing Doctors is part of the storyline and he's been watching it since he was a kid. Now, I'm hooked too.

- Great stuff! Small suggestion: perhaps you might include a link to Outpost Gallifrey (http://www.gallifreyone.com/), the largest fan community for all things Who, and the subject of an in-joke by Steven Moffat in Blink. (You've also got a wee typo in your "Bargains from eBay" subheader.)

- Been a Whovian since Jon Pertwee (still my favorite). You have a nice page here. One suggestion: Links to pages with more Who-History! There's over 40 years of background as rich and detailed as the Star Trek universe. Let the newbies know about it!
